February 2022[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

I'll see when I get time. Well Ahir Gawli and Dhangar Gawli are two different castes. Yadupati (talk) 05:05, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent work on recent articles[edit]

Very interesting to see an article on Ranjit Singh Ahir and on other figures in medieval Bihar. One issue with this area of Wikipedia is that everyone is trying to demean other castes but I’m glad to see editors like you who cover other communities equally. Hope to work with you in the future.RuudVanClerk (talk) 15:36, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah sure, we will work together someday. Yadupati (talk) 09:33, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

May 2022[edit]

Please understand Raj-Era references cannot be used on direct caste related pages. Read WP:RAJ, I hope don't repeat the same. I am informing you like you did at Ahir clans just now. RS6784 (talk) 06:53, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do know reference from K Suresh Singh is under WP: RSCASTE it includes any reprinted versions. Thanks RS6784 (talk) 07:04, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Shivnandan Prasad Mandal[edit]

Thank you for creating Shivnandan Prasad Mandal.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

I'd maybe pop a biography tag on the talk page!

June 2022[edit]

Hi I have reverted your edit on Kunwar Singh where you added Ranjit Singh Ahir. I tried to find a lot about this personality but except cursory glance couldn't find much from very reliable references. Akalanka820 (talk) 16:58, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I cross checked, I didn't found anything to suggest the reference of Prassanna Choudhary that you added just now on Kunwar Singh is based on an academician. Akalanka820 (talk) 17:06, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
and that one & only single ( some kind of mention) is in a Journal not in any reputed book on 1857. Akalanka820 (talk) 17:13, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will try to find reliable sources. Yadupati (talk) 18:20, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do correct your content on Bihari Ahir page, they don't match the reference, I have added a failed verification tag there. Similar case with many others. It is better you correct it yourself. Thanks Akalanka820 (talk) 18:49, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will do that. Thanks Yadupati (talk) 06:57, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted your some of recent edits because you have cited primary sources in them, which are unreliable per WP:PRIMARY. You can cite only what modern historians state about them. Sutyarashi (talk) 09:34, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Khangar (community)[edit]

In October 2023, you added a hat tags to Khangar (community). One of these was a {{disputed}} tag. As there was no discussion started on talk:Khangar (community), what is disputed is unknown. So, I removed that tag. Please feel free to replace that tag and start a discussion on the talk page? You can add the talk page section on the tag such as {{disputed|Section heading of whatever is disputed|date=December 2023}}. Note that the template will need to be left out of the {{multiple}} block or the discussion page will not be shown. See options on the disputed template page.
