Shannara

[edit]

Wellllll....It may be more useful to work here on Wikipedia...More people who might join are here--I know that the only reason that I looked at the Shannara Wiki was to find new people for our project here (no offense intended). I just think that no matter how good the work is, only editors look at the (name here).wikia.com pages, so it would be better to improve them here..........Do you have any really good articles at the Shannara Wiki that we could bring here?? Maybe they can bring a few Shannara articles here up to featured status just because of them???? (I confess, I don't have a lot of time at home, and my school blocks all ".wikia" sites as personal pages, so I haven't looked at any of your articles)... That would help bring people in to help there and here. I would appreciate the/ANY help at the Project, but it's your decision. Thanks for any help, and sorry for the gynormously long message! the_ed17 02:15, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, a thought.... hit the "+" button to start new topics on talk pages--it helps to distingush between different topics; and to add more to an existing topic, just add a colon below previous writing (like I did here, it indents--look at your talk page under the edit button and see). Lastly, add ~~~~ add the end of your message to sign a signature!!!! (If you knew, I am sorry for insulting you!!! =D ...and if you didn't, I am sorry for being a HORRIBLE explainer/teacher!) the_ed17 02:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And yet another thought...would you happen to know of any website where Brooks (or anyone!) talks about Shannara so we can add references to the articles? the_ed17 12:28, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. I knew about his website and the "Ask Terry"...but I did NOT know about the "Druid History Vault"!! Thanks! the_ed17 15:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Calling all active WP:NOVELS members

WikiProject Novels Roll Call

WikiProject Novels is currently holding a roll call, which we hope to have annually. Your username is listed on the members list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active within the project. If you still consider yourself an active WP:Novels editor, please add your name back to the Active Members list. Also feel free to join any of our task forces and take a look at the project's Job Centre to get involved!

Next month we will begin the coordinator election selection process. We hope to have more involvement and input this time around! More news will be forthcoming. Thanks, everyone! María (habla conmigo) 18:24, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
