Primrose Hill[edit]

Hello, that's a nice picture of the view from Primrose Hill, but did you take it (or any other pictures) from the top of the hill? That one looks like it's halfway down. Lfh 13:08, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know that I recently copied the above image that you uploaded to Wikipedia over to WikiMedia Commons. The image had been tagged with the {{Copy to Wikimedia Commons}} template. Your image is now available to all Wikimedia projects at the following location: Commons:File:061119-PrimroseHill.JPG. Just to let you know that I recently copied the above image that you uploaded to Wikipedia over to WikiMedia Commons, the Wikimedia central media repository for all free media. The image had been tagged with the {{Copy to Wikimedia Commons}} template. Your image is now available to all Wikimedia projects at the following location: Commons:File:Bagge Mansion King's Lynn.JPG. NowCommons: File:Bagge Mansion King's Lynn.JPG[edit]

File:Bagge Mansion King's Lynn.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Bagge Mansion King's Lynn.JPG. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Bagge Mansion King's Lynn.JPG]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 17:32, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:2008new20pobverse.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:2008new20pobverse.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:30, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Reddwarf-backtoearth.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Reddwarf-backtoearth.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:58, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Buildings in Kings Lynn[edit]

HI Are you still interested in this stuff? I have made quite a few additions and changes recently as you can see. Also I have posted in the talk page. It seems that everybody else since 2008 has lost interest completely?Greenpenwriter (talk) 17:00, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am still interested in the page, I started it 6 years ago, built up the content, tried to get the Lynn News to run a piece on it to encourage local people to contribute but they didn't even acknowledge my letter or email to them (no reply, nothing!) However, I continued to update it but until recently there has been little interest in the page. I have been updating it, but I usually end up doing it anonymously because I am too lazy to log in. Alienturnedhuman (talk) 20:00, 29 February 2012 (UTC) Tell me something about the Lynn news I don't know. They only wanted to know me when Michael Carroll, lotto lout, smashed my bus windscreen, and only then after he won 9.7 million. Let's keep plodding on and b****r the Lynn news. Have you still got that ixus? Must be getting a bit long in the tooth by now?Greenpenwriter (talk) 17:42, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately I lost it on holiday 2 years ago. It is a shame, it was a great camera which I used with the hack to add RAW mode + enhanced features. Alienturnedhuman (talk) 13:49, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Random Perspective requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Article userfied[edit]

In its present form the article would just be deleted again, so instead I have "userfied" it for you to User:Alienturnedhuman/Random Perspective where you can work on it. The WP:Notability requirement is for references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject", see also WP:Notability (summary); since Random Perspective was a founding member of Humorfeed, the fact that they interviewed him cannot be considered an independent reference. If you can add more, either click "Submit" to send the article to WP:Articles for creation, where an experienced user will check it an either accept it or give you feedback, or contact user Bbb23 (talk), the deleting administrator, with a link to the draft for permission to post it. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. User:Alienturnedhuman/Random Perspective, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Alienturnedhuman/Random Perspective and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Alienturnedhuman/Random Perspective during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Legacypac (talk) 17:26, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
