July 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Largoplazo. I noticed that you removed a Biographies of Living Persons PROD, from Alush Gavazaj, and I wanted to let you know that I have replaced it. Please don't remove these Biographies of Living Persons PRODs from articles unless they contain at least one reliable source or were created before 18 March 2010. If you oppose the deletion of an article under this process, please consider adding reliable sources to the article or commenting at the respective talk page. Thank you. —Largo Plazo (talk) 14:40, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Alush Gavazaj. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Are you Alush Gavazaj? If not, then your use of his name is a violation of Wikipedia policy. —Largo Plazo (talk) 14:41, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Do not remove Biographies of Living Persons PRODs from articles, unless reliable sources have been provided, as you did with Alush Gavazaj. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the respective talk page instead. This is also for removing the autobiography tag. —Largo Plazo (talk) 21:31, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Alush Gavazaj, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. —Largo Plazo (talk) 14:57, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Kevin Kacoli. The {{Prod blp/dated}} tag must remain at the top of the article until reliable secondary sources are added. —C.Fred (talk) 17:08, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Grent Halili has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.

Not every member of a football team is notable. Members of a reserve squad are even less likely to be notable and may be subject to speedy deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 17:11, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Marlind Nuriu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.

Nuriu is under 18; junior players are assumed to be not notable unless they have international caps. —C.Fred (talk) 17:13, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kevin Kacoli has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Football player with no significant accomplishments. Only "source" is a definitions page at an unreliable source

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 14:10, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
