Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Sunrisemill, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Sunrise Mill , which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Your username
[edit]Hello. As a retired museum curator myself, I can appreciate your desires to correct information about the site you work at. Unfortunately we don't permit either promotional usernames, or ones that suggest shared use by more than one person. So I need to advise you to either request an account name change (via Wikipedia:Changing username), or simply to abandon this account and start another one. A name like User:SunriseAndrew would be absolutely fine!
Although you did right in declaring your connection in the edit summary you made, I suggest it would be better in that new account to declare your connection on your new user page, as explained at WP:COI. As you are employed by the museum (and presumably get paid at least a small pittance for so doing), you must follow our obligatory policy on paid editing, as explained at WP:PAID. It is always best to suggest edits for others to make by making an WP:EDITREQUEST on the relevant talk page. That said, please don't be put off. See WP:GLAM to appreciate that we actually encourage collaboration between Wikipedia and galleries, libraries, museums and archives. Regards from the UK, Nick Moyes (talk) 20:33, 17 June 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Sunrisemill
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:Sunrisemill requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. December 2021
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you.
