Way of St. James
I saw you were part of a discussion when reading the Way of St. James article and deciding that there are multiple issues with external links. I have started a discussion on the talk page about two of the links in that section, citing WP:ELNO. It is my honest opinion that neither of the two mentioned are relevant to the article, and as for the photos and sounds themselves, they could easily be released under a free license and uploaded to WP:Commons where they could be more widely enjoyed. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 20:41, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Fyra may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. A little help to conclude
Hi, we need to discuss objections here or here, or conclude/vote here, thanks. --Krauss (talk) 12:34, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
tempête
Do you think this pronunciation sounds like tapijt ? 198.105.98.58 (talk) 00:43, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- No idea, get a security block on the player. Unlikely though as the French tempete has een m and a much softer t at the end compared to the Dutch tapijt. Also the French e is like the e in egg while is somewhat closer to the i in kite (but still not very close). Arnoutf (talk) 17:03, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
European Union article
Hello Arnoutf,
why did you say my edit is Unencyclopedic and besides the point? Best wishes, Sarcelles (talk) 17:54, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
- Unencyclopedic: The phrasing "Biofuels menace rainforests".
- Besides the point. The EU has committed itself to fight climate change. They have included strategies that are far from perfect, but the point being made is the commitment/ambition, not the implementation, hence besides the point. Arnoutf (talk) 17:59, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

Vital Articles
To all editors displaying the "Vital Articles" template on their User Page.
Hi,
I recently tried to make a change to the list of Level 3 Vital Articles by replacing the entry
- "
[[Comparison of the imperial and US customary measurement systems|Imperial and US customary measurement systems]]
"
with a new replacement article
- "
[[Imperial and US customary measurement systems]]
".
Although I have advertised the proposed change on Wikipedia talk:Vital articles, I had no response and an anonymous IP editor took it upon himself to undo my changes on grounds that my proposal did not have a "strong consensus".
Will you please look at the discussion Wikipedia talk:Vital articles#Replacement article: Imperial and US customary measurement systems and add your opinion.

Some clarifications
Hello dear User. I have one question to you: in the Atheism article's Talk page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Atheism#Some_very_interesting_and_very_important_statistics you tried to teach me what is a good manner. Thanks for that my teacher. You even wrote in a very terrible way that I have extremely poor manners! Now please look at this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Demographics_of_atheism#Some_definitions and explain me please (like my etiquete teacher) is the behaviour and the words of user Yambaram very nice? Or you teach etiquete only to someone who has another viewpoint? I d like to know what would you say in this case Mr. (althought I know you will avoid to answer me directly and again will be abusing me).46.70.21.246 (talk) 20:17, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

EU
Hi Arnoutf, although I am not part of the EU wikiproject or edit any of the related articles, I think it is self-evident that a reduction in the size of the infobox, by omitting some details, is desirable. You reverted my proposal and that's fine, but will you try to address this issue in some other way? Thanks, eh bien mon prince (talk) 17:43, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- To be honest I do not see the problem, as the long lists removed are default collapsed. If there is consensus for such a reduction I am fine with it, but I think it is just too substantial an edit to do without discussion first. Arnoutf (talk) 17:54, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

Dag. Hi
I will be glad if you can improve my contribution with the article "The Duke of Alba". This will be good for the Wikipedia. I had inserted the requested references. So I will be glad too if you can restore the sentences I had been working on. Write them in a better English if you want to do so, but do not delete the work of a Wikipedian. We all contribute doing our best. Thank you and have a Happy New Year 2014. --Inesbugsbunnyines (talk) 21:27, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- I will be straightforward and say NO. You should create fair prose, it is not my task to correct your English - Read WP:Competence. Arnoutf (talk) 22:22, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 29
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fernando Álvarez de Toledo, 3rd Duke of Alba, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fadrique Álvarez de Toledo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
