The article Cam Brady (The Campaign) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not enough reliable source coverage to justify independent article

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your contributed article, Marty Huggins (The Campaign)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Marty Huggins (The Campaign). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – The Campaign (film). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at The Campaign (film) – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Darkwarriorblake (talk) 04:26, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Image of Alan Garcia[edit]

There are several free images of Alan Garcia available on Wikipedia Commons. Fair use images cannot be used if free images exist. I have replaced the image of Alan Garcia in the election article with one of the free images of him from commons. Safiel (talk) 01:58, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Peruvian Congress 2020-2021[edit]

You did a good job with creating Template:Peruvian Congress 2020-2021. On the downside, the overuse of background colours makes the template difficult to read. Would it not be a better idea to replace the background colours with an abbreviation of the party name they stand for? The Banner talk 10:27, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thank you so much. At the moment I'll try to find different background colors that can make the names readable (E.g: Instead of a full Purple color for the Purple Party, I'll select a lighter Purple). Cheers! Búfalo Barreto (talk) 14:20, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vizcarra[edit]

Hi

do you have source that the vacancy is effective on 10 November? For Kuczynski, he resigned on 21 March and the vacancy declared on 23 March. For Vizcarra, the vacancy occured on 9 November.--Panam2014 (talk) 09:33, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

Yes, I do. According to this source,[1] the removal and therefore declaration of the vacancy comes into effect when it's officially communicated by the government. The Legal Norms Section of "El Peruano" is the one in charge of such official declaration.

Speedy deletion nomination of Víctor M. Marroquín[edit]

Hello, Búfalo Barreto,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Víctor M. Marroquín, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

APRA[edit]

If you think the article title is wrong, you need to request it be moved through the WP:RM process. In the meantime, references to it elsewhere should match the title.

Also, some of your edits are messing up the infobox because you are including a link in the party field, whereas it should just be the party name. Number 57 21:38, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And just an FYI for any move rationale, the 'official' name is not the deciding factor. What is most important is the party's common name in English, which is not always the same as the official name. Number 57 21:41, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's not the title is wrong. You can even check Spanish wikipedia if you want proof of what I am saying. I am just inserting the official name of the party when running in elections. The article American Popular Revolutionary Alliance has even the tag name "American Popular Revolutionary Alliance - Peruvian Aprista Party". It's is popularly known as APRA, but the official denomination is Peruvian Aprista Party, and the article just follows the original name. Why do you think Peruvian Aprista Party redirects to American Popular Revolutionary Alliance? It's simple. Búfalo Barreto (talk) 21:43, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The point is that listings of the party on other articles should use the same name as the title of the article on the party. THey do not have to use the official name. Number 57 21:46, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
To give you an example, Danish Social Liberal Party is a party whose official name is 'Radikale Venstre' or 'Radical Left'. However, the article title/common name is Danish Social Liberal Party, and this (or the shortened form 'Social Liberals') is how it is listed on election articles. Hernando de Soto[edit]

Hello, Are you sure this picture is under a Public Domain license? I have looked extensively on the website provided for indications of public domain release, but have failed to find any such indication. The reason I'm asking is because I would like to nominate the article Hernando de Soto (economist) as a Featured Article. If the photo is not properly licensed then we'd definitely get ripped apart.

Thanks!

An article you recently created, Harvard National Model United Nations - Latin America, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Liz Read!
