If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Template:Edit semi-protected page, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 14:12, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Try reading a book

[edit]

Why Bhotes like you have so much problem in accepting Newars are majority Hindus, or Newars follow Dashain Tihar, or Newars have Brahmin Kshetri in them, or Newars are rich and educated. Why the constant tries to include Newars within the general Janjati/bhote people? You recently tried to delete a whole paragraph mentioning Sharma, Mishra do not exist in Newars. Well my friend, stop thinking from your ass and try to read a book for once?? Here, I give you this evidence; this is one of the most if not the most comprehensive books published on Newar castes and culture. Read it once.

http://publishing.cdlib.org/ucpressebooks/view?docId=ft6k4007rd&chunk.id=d0e12130&toc.depth=1&toc.id=d0e12130&brand=ucpress

It will help you give you a lot of information of our culture. You will realize that Newar Brahmans are indeed there and they have been writing not just Sharma but also Subedi, Rimal, Acharya, among other Brahmin surnames for many many generations. All of this goes to show you how unique Newari society is and how we have incorporated different people and races in our society. Similarly, Mishra, Jha surnamed Newars are present in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. I think it was a Vice Chancellor of TU once, the person was a Mishra and he was a Newar. If you still do not agree then research and bring evidence and reference them properly in the article.

Before you delete other people's valuable - and properly referenced - contributions, try having a little brain and do some research and accept the facts of this life. Also, what are you talking about Madhesi Pradhan, Joshi, Sahi? I haven't heard about Sahi but yes Pradhan and Joshi are also there in Khas people as well as Indians in West Bengals, Orissa, Maharashtra states, but that does not mean they are Newars. Only Joshis (Jyotsijyu) and Pradhan (PramukhMaharathihyu/Praman) are Newars, not others...
