Image Tagging Image:ShaykhHisham.jpg[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:ShaykhHisham.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- Longhair 16:54, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Bektashism[edit]

Paki.tv, who I suspect is a sockpuppet of the pov vandal Nygdan, has reverted your edits to Bektashism. While you can revert his edit, please remember WP:3RR and consider contacting an administrator for outside mediation. KI 01:39, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Al-ahari.jpg[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Al-ahari.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Orphaned fair use image (Image:Mevlanaefendi.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mevlanaefendi.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Non-free use disputed for Image:Seyhefendi.jpg[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Seyhefendi.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:58, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Information.svg Hello Bektashi110! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 2,418 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Abidullah Ghazi - Find sources: "Abidullah Ghazi" – news · newspapers · books · scholar · HighBeam · JSTOR · free images · free news sources · The Wikipedia Library · NYT · WP reference

June 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Bektashi Order, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This article already has too much unsourced information, please do not add more. "It is important to note" is a phrase we should avoid, as it is an editor's opinion and our articles should be based on what reliable sources say. Dougweller (talk) 20:43, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Martha Stewart/Lipka Tatar[edit]

Hi, I reverted your addition of Martha Stewart to the list of Lipka Tatars [1]. It's plausible and may be true, but you need to find a reliable source to back up the information as this is a biographies of living persons issue.VolunteerMarek 22:37, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Sabbatai Zevi and the Bektashi Order[edit]

In this 2006 edit of Bektashi Order you introduce the unreferenced assertion that Sabbatai Zevi is believed to be widely influenced by the order. Do you have any reference for this claim? I have tagged it with an inline citation request, and I will remove the information if not sourced properly within a reasonable time frame. __meco (talk) 11:03, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

I have now removed this information. Please provide sources if you decide to reinstate. __meco (talk) 07:15, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 19[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Abidullah Ghazi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zakir Hussain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
