Spongebob

[edit]

I'll take you up on the challenge to find indep sources, as I am sure there is scholarly commentary on Ren and Stimpy and in many ways Spongebob has lasted longer and had more lasting influence. Just got my hands full currently but will leave it in my to-do page. Casliber (talk · contribs) 20:30, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:MUSIC Proposal

[edit]

As someone who has previously been involved in WP:MUSIC policy discussion. I would much appreciate your input on this proposal if possible. --neonwhite user page talk 02:36, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to look at the discussions on talk. I plan to rewrite the article in the near future, it is indeed in sad shape now.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 05:33, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, really?

[edit]

You may want to reread the Wikipedia policy on civility and then consider your own comments and said reaction here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Ego_the_Living_Planet

Needless, to say, not the end of the matter. I'll bring in others for comment.

Asgardian (talk) 08:23, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ego was never going to be deleted - anyone who thought so obviously knows nothing about comics. There was also no vote stacking. As I said, I'll be taking the matter further and using the comments posted to date as evidence.

Asgardian (talk) 02:22, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vote stacking? I've looked that over. Calling it vote stacking sure comes across like a way of deriding a vote because it overwhelmingly went against you. Doczilla STOMP! 01:07, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Corrected references

[edit]

You are right: 2 links didn't work & I removed them. Thanks for noticing me. I'll be more careful.

Notability on politicians

[edit]

Hi Blast - I've reverted your change to WP:BIO for now. I proposed the change on the talk page a few weeks ago, and there was very little response (one editor, who agreed with the change). I recognize that this is far from a firm consensus, so I'd be happy to address whatever objections you may have (and I'd even be happy to leave it in the old form while discussion is ongoing). However, since you haven't actually made any points yet, and since I've already made mine, I didn't see any way to respond to your reversion except by reverting. Let's talk about it on the talk page. German politicians

[edit]

Thanks. Well the idea was that we get 3000 articles like Albert Buchmann trasnlated into english. It was a big task but I thought we could have tried a little harder to at least translate more of them first. Dr. Blofeld White cat 09:04, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rugby-Bundesliga 2007–08

[edit]

I'm a bit buffled about your removal of the location map on the Rugby-Bundesliga 2007–08 article, claiming its inappropriate! I've reverted your edit. Calistemon (talk) 00:08, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, they do! See 2010–11 Fußball-Bundesliga or 2010–11 Premier League for two examples. Calistemon (talk) 04:27, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, they're all too large, and probably violate some rule, perhaps in the WP:MOS. Blast Ulna (talk) 06:19, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Manual of Style is a guide, not a rule, you can't really violate it, just not follow it. I invite you to delete the map on 2010–11 Premier League. Let me just step back so I don't get splattered by the blood while you get stoned to death by 16-year old editiors who think this is the most important article on Wikipedia! But to be serious again, I don't think those maps violate any rule here at all and they are quite informative. As to the size, that can be adjusted to a suitable level. dont give them any ideas! that new editor is definitely local. i truly believe they thought they were progressive in Nettleton by having this policy. Its a different world.--Milowenttalkblp-r 20:41, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
