WikiProject Space Colonization Userboxes
Sorry, I didn't see that you were already working on a userbox for the group. If you're still working on yours, let me know and I'll add it to the list on the project page. Also, can you make yours add the user to the WikiProject Space Colonization category? Wronkiew (talk) 22:08, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
I kind of like the image in your second userbox. I might steal it for mine. By the way, you should split up your userboxes into separate templates so they can be transcluded. Wronkiew (talk) 17:00, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for that paradoxical edit
ϢereSpielChequers is offering you a Wiki Beer! Liquid refreshment promotes WikiHarmony and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the harmony by offering a beer to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Cheers, and Happy editing!
Best served refrigerated (not applicable in England). Temperature and Alcoholic strength varies according to age, religion and geographic location of recipient, US residents below the age of 21 are best advised to keep this beerstar until travelling in a country with less ageist drinking laws. NB This Beerstar is compatible with all known fake IDs
PS. Congratulations for being the first to take advantage of the paradox, for nearly two days my userpage was in a state of quantum uncertainty as to whether it was vandalised or not. But it now seems you were merely predicting this mornings vandalism :) ϢereSpielChequers 09:10, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- My services are actually for hire, if you need me to predict any more vandalism! Bsimmons666 (talk) 20:34, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 14:37, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Center for Policy Alternatives
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Center for Policy Alternatives, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Victor Lopes (talk) 21:35, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm aware of your opinion, I read the talk page of the article. I wouldn't send you the warning, but Twinkle does it automatically. Cheers, Victor Lopes (talk) 21:46, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Operation Silver (1949), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Operation Silver. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:48, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Re: Operation Silver
My apologies for jumping the gun there a little bit! In the future, however, you may wish to create the new page first so this situation can be avoided. Sorry again!

Cactus Curtain
For Cactus Curtain I am having trouble tracking down the accuracy of this definition. Do you know a place on Wikipedia where we could get it fact-checked? Incidentally I came across the article as it is not yet patrolled, here's the link so I don't forget:[1].
I have added some sources for Cell
I hope this, and the fact that more are obviously out there with proper searching, will cause you to reconsider your vote.JJJ999 (talk) 23:09, 8 October 2008 (UTC) I have gone to the deletion review here to oppose the premature closure: Cell (Dragon Ball) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (restore | cache | AfD)
One of the advantages of not having many supporters at your RFA is that there are fewer people to thank at the end. Thanks for your support and your willingness to look at my complete record. I'm going to try to interpret this resounding defeat as a statement that I should choose my words more carefully in the future, and remember that every statement I make gets recorded forever, just waiting to get carefully transcribed onto my next RFA. I would go insane if I believed that it was repudiation of what I truly meant: that no editor should consciously and willfully ignore guidelines and policies, and editors that repeatedly do so should not be rewarded for or supported in doing so.
I'm sure I'll get back to full speed editing soon, because, after all, , every day, and in every way, I am getting better and better.—Kww(talk) 05:29, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

RfA thanks
Hello Bsimmons666. Thank you very much for your support in my recent Request for Adminship, which was successful with 111 supports, 0 opposes, and 0 neutral. I have to say I am more than a little overwhelmed by this result and I greatly appreciate your trust in me. I will do my best to use the tools wisely. Thanks again. Regards. Hi
I reverted the previous user only to find that the page was originally created by the previous user. A quick glance at the original content shows that it is clearly a fake entry.--Jyngyr (talk) 01:12, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Is there any way to get that page deleted?--Jyngyr (talk) 01:13, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
No problem. Thanks for your help with the deletion.--Jyngyr (talk) 01:15, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Don't worry about it! I screwed up first myself by originally restoring the content.--Jyngyr (talk) 01:17, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

re DYK nom
If it's any help I've left this note at noms but couldn't handle the referencing style so left page number instead:
- "I've expanded some but having trouble with the format of references as given in the article. Please help."
- "I've expanded some but having trouble with the format of references as given in the article. Please help."
The article just needs fleshing out besides the brief points made. cheers Julia Rossi (talk) 01:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Central College
Hey there. Just a quick note to say you've done a great job on the Central College article. I don't know enough about the area really, and ought to have Googled it - rather than getting in a grump and trying to delete it! We live and learn... Con Pol
Hi Bsimmons666, it was just that when I tried to do the a/b/c/ thing with the refs in Conviction politics I got a big red notice meaning I didn't do it properly and couldn't make it work. I must have been missing some formatting. Could you do it please? Thanks, Julia Rossi (talk) 21:30, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- PS it's under Usage section from the 9/ll book: "(p118)
- Hi again – no, it's because when the error came up I deleted my formatting. I don't know if putting the page number in the text is WP:MOS, but it would be style-patible to have a little box with that book's ref number there and its refname in the edit. I just couldn't get the formatting right for that books's refname. Julia Rossi (talk) 04:30, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks so much Bsimmons – you also solved a problem for me with the repeatable ref name/diff page number solution. Best, Julia Rossi (talk) 21:36, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Re: ibid, would that stay in sequence if references change around through additional text? Julia Rossi (talk) 21:49, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- Have to say it's clearer now than when I asked long before on wikipedia help desk, so thanks heaps. Cheers, Julia Rossi (talk) 06:17, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
