Speedy deletion nomination of Shikha Malhotra
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Shikha Malhotra requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Women diaries moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Women diaries, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Getting unblocked
[edit]Hello, I saw your message on my talk page... I was on vacation at the time so I was unable to respond. In your response to Yamla, it appears you are still unsure about some of our copyright policies. Wikipedia:Copyrights should have the correct answers to Yamla's questions, so you should refer to there if you have not already.
An issue you had in particular was copying plot summaries from other sources on your film articles. Plot summaries are not needed for these articles; if you simply haven't seen the movie/aren't sure how to write the plot, it's perfectly ok to put nothing in the plot section. Nothing in that section is better than a bunch of copied material. If you understand this and promise to not copy plot summaries, it will go a long way in getting you unblocked.
