JSTOR cleanup drive

Hello TWL users! We hope JSTOR has been a useful resource for your work. We're organizing a cleanup drive to correct dead links to JSTOR articles – these require JSTOR access and cannot easily be corrected by bot. We'd love for you to jump in and help out!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bacnotan Church, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dominican. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Capul Church

I promoted Capul Church to the prep area but when I looked at the article I found one paragraph that was utterly different to the source, both dates and facts.

  • The source stated: In 1947, the neo-Gothic altar was apparently destroyed when a typhoon hit the church. In c. 1987, The church suffered destruction when a strong typhoon ripped the roof, ceiling, and part of the convento. The church was subsequently repaired but is pretty much an empty shell, save for a very new altar and renovated sanctuary.
  • The article stated A typhoon destroyed the church's neo-gothic altar in 1898. In 1897, the church was extensively destroyed causing the removal of the roof and ceiling. The church became an empty shell. It also destroyed the church's convent.

I hope the rest of the article is rather better. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:29, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

@Cwmhiraeth: Thanks for the heads up and pardon for the errors. I've rechecked the details and edited the article. Thank you! --carlojoseph14 (talk) 12:50, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
