Could you please license Feather.svg also with Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5?

Could you please license Feather.svg also with Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5? There is currently a problem with a derivative work of the file, Stop bad orthography nuvola.svg. In that derivative work I merged your image and Stop hand nuvola.svg, which is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5. But your image, Feather.svg, is licensed only with GNU Free Documentation License, which is a ShareAlike-license. --Joku Janne (talk) 11:56, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

I hate this licensing nonsense. Seeing as this issue isn't actually the least bit important, and will never matter outside of Wikipedia (Since no one else actually looks at the license anyway), I just switched it to public domain. Enjoy. ~ Booya Bazooka 19:27, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Actually... crap, I can't even do that, because it's a derivative of File:Feather.jpg, which is GFDL. Can you further explain why this is necessary or possible? If it's a problem for you that my image doesn't have a CC license, that how can I add it, since the image I derived from doesn't have it either? ~ Booya Bazooka 19:39, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
D'oh! I did not notice the source of the SVG. Now I have to ask the author of the JPG image to license the JPG image with CC-BY-SA 2.5. And when he/she have changed the license, you can change the license for the SVG image, and when you have changed the license for the SVG image, Father.svg becomes legal. Now it is a copyright violation. --Joku Janne (talk) 21:42, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
And the author of the JPG image is inactive ([1]). He has made his last edit in August 2006. And he has not given his e-mail adress. The only choice is to license Stop2.png with GFDL and then license Stop hand nuvola.svg with GFDL. --Joku Janne (talk) 21:58, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Your userpage

Hi, you have very nice userpage, can i take some parts of it to use in my talkpage in Finnish wikipedia? --Olliii (talk) 16:07, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Of course, use what you want. This is Wikipedia, so it's all open-licensed, right? :) ~ Booya Bazooka 20:11, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi, it would be really helpful if you released File:P blank.svg under PD-self. I'm having trouble because I can't combine the template with LGPL images for example. This template is so widely derivatived, so it would really help. --Beao 13:48, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

image: rubik's cube.svg

Well, i did not understand whether this image is property of Rubik's Cube company or whether you made it from A to Z. Anyway, i wanted to notice you that a little french clothes company is making money with printing this image on tshirts. www.myspace.com/abclife shirt 79.86.55.136 (talk) 11:25, 11 November 2010 (UTC) Julien

error in your Efron dice cube drawing

the top side of the last cube is empty, and it should be either 1 or 5, not blank — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.251.163.16 (talk) 03:49, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

The idea was to use the visible sides of each die to indicate probability. 1 and 5 have equal odds on that one, so I didn't want to show either number more often than the other. ~ Booya Bazooka 20:12, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

The article Branch water has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Nothing but a list of dictionary definitions; not disambiguating any Wikipedia article topics

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 020413 DOJ White Paper

Hi, copy and paste is not the way to transwiki as it loses all the edit history. Consequently, I have deleted the page on enWS and removed the CSD template here. When it's transwiki-ed properly, we will require an appropriate licence and source along with a meaningful title rather then the jumble of digits and letters it currently has. The article Banerjee test has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
