Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Tjeei, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Tjeei, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Sarrail (talk) 17:54, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Tjeei, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website, I have blocked this account from editing. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. Seraphimblade Talk to me 17:58, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I work at this company and was not advertising, I made the account for educational purposes.Tjeei (talk) 19:07, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

Accept reason:

Renamed (or at least, rename queued up) so unblocked. Note that you were blatantly advertising, clearly violating WP:COI and WP:PROMO, and we expect you will not do so again now that you are renamed and unblocked. Yamla (talk) 19:48, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You do not necessarily need to be selling goods or services. Simply using Wikipedia to publicize your employer's existence to the world is considered promotion.

Mere existence does not entitle an organization to have a Wikipedia article. We require all organizations to be notable, by Wikipedia's definition to be considered worthy of inclusion. For this to happen, you must show evidence that your organization has already acquired significant coverage from multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what an organization wishes to say about itself.

Please also familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's rules on conflict of interest and paid editing disclosure, both of which apply in your circumstance. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:55, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot recreate my user page. It states that it is blocked. Christine Parsons from TJEEI (talk) 19:59, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

When you do, please do be aware, though, that your prior user page was deleted since it promoted the organization. You're welcome to make a new one, but please make sure it doesn't "talk up" the organization in that way. Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:13, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
