[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Tony Almeida, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --MiB-24 (talk) 18:02, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to 24 (season 8). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --MiB-24 (talk) 18:04, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
IMDB is not considered a reliable, verifiable source since anyone can add material to it and it is often wrong. You need to find something from a reliable source such as a newspaper, official press release, or some other source which can be trusted for the edits you keep making relating to 24. --MiB-24 (talk) 20:19, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]Please try to read up on what is needed to verify material on Wikipedia. Nothing you've used so far to try and add Carlos Bernard to Season 8 can be verified. A single blog post on a newspaper website and IMDB do not really meet the needed criteria, especially when every other news article and press release do NOT mention Bernard as being in Season 8. You really need to wait until either Fox comes out and says Bernard will be back, or it is confirmed by either Bernard himself or a member of the crew. I know how easy it is to want to add material to Wikipedia due to excitement about an upcoming event, but it needed to be properly sourced in order to be included on Wikipedia. --MiB-24 (talk) 04:29, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Tucker McCall
[edit]If you look down The Young and the Restless minor characters article, you will see that most of the characters listed there are major characters at one point or another during the series. If anything, the article should be renamed something like The Young and the Restless miscellaneous characters. But regardless, even if Tucker McCall is a main character right now, that does not mean he warrants an entire article based around him. At this encyclopedia, articles need to provide additional information beyond plot to establish notability. There's a bit of a casting section, but there's nothing on the writing or the reception of the character. Nothing that shows why he is notable.
Here are some examples of soap opera character articles that do establish notability: Pauline Fowler, Todd Manning, Dimitri Marick, and Bianca Montgomery. As you can see, each page is filled with information on the characters that include and extend beyond just the fictional storylines they are involved in, such as details on their casting, writing/development, cultural impact, and reliable sources that support all of that information. Those are all the things that would be needed for Tucker McCall and many other characters to warrant their own page. Do you intend to provide this notability? Rocksey (talk) 06:23, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
- After waiting for about a week to see if you or anybody would start working on establishing notability for the Tucker McCall article, I just decided to redirect again. Rocksey (talk) 06:41, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Dion Phaneuf.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Dion Phaneuf.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:22, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

Just curious if you even watch Bold and the Beautiful. Hope's marriage to Liam was not legal, therefore they are NOT married. Hope did not sign the wedding papers, and Hope is now living back at the Logan Mansion. Please do not edit my posts when my information is accurate. Colton hockey11 (talk) 04:40, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Actually I do watch it. And it was more than that information, per WP:SOAPS, we do not classify how marriages are at their current state. You saying "Invalid" violates the terms of WP:SOAPS. And if you do watch, then you know they stated it's recognized in Italy and not California, thereby making it a legal marriage by European law. Musicfreak7676 my talk page! 14:24, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
The marriage is not legal in the state of California because Hope did not sign the wedding papers. Regardless if there was a ceremony in Italy, if the marriage license was not signed, it is NOT a recognized marriage. Therefore the marriage is invalid, and is not an actual marriage.Colton hockey11 (talk) 14:32, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
