Welcome![edit]

Hello, Craig F Duffy, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Craig F Duffy, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hello Jay,
Thanks for your inputs. I am new user and I thought if I have to create a article in Wikipedia then I have to create an user with same name as article so I create a user with name "Craig F Duffy". I wanted to make article for Craig Duffy live but till date I can't do it somehow.
I need your help in 2 task :
1. Rename the article from "Craig F Duffy" to "Craig Duffy". The article with name "Craig Duffy" already reside in wikipedia but it is not approved so it is not accessible. The status of that article is "Delete" because the content of the article was wrong.
2. Currently it redirect in talk page from google if I search with keyword "Craig F Duffy". Can you please help me in this. I think it should automatically redirect in "Craig Duffy" once the article is live, right?
Thanks for your help and support in advance. Craig F Duffy (talk) 12:14, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have changed the article name. Please go to Special:GlobalRenameRequest to request a username change, as you are not Duffy himself (see WP:CHU for more information about user renames). If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 12:39, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As you have continued to edit without seeing this message, I have soft-blocked you since you are not Duffy. Please follow the instructions below to rename and unblock your account. Primefac (talk) 12:33, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Craig Duffy moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Craig Duffy, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello Robert,
The article(Craig duffy) has been nominated for deleted because of the reason "Person is not notable.".
I am trying to prove that this person is notable sport person with different URLs in reference section. In fact the person is listed/mentioned in 2 Wikipedia pages 1996 WPA World Nine-ball Championship and 1994 Australian Open (snooker).
Also, I am not able to edit the article now. If I wanted to edit the article with more proof then how am I suppose to do that? Craig F Duffy (talk) 09:10, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
