Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Cruxartanny, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

- If you have a conflict of interest, you must declare it.
- When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
- You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
- There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
- You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
- If you have a conflict of interest, you must declare it.
- Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. [edit]Hello Cruxartanny. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Cen Long, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Cruxartanny. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Cruxartanny|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 12:12, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, as you did at Draft:Cen Long. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
I noticed that you have posted comments to the page User talk:Cruxartanny in a language other than English. At the English-language Wikipedia, we try to use English for all comments. Posting all comments in English makes it easier for other editors to join the conversation and help you. If you cannot avoid using another language, then please provide a translation into English, if you can. If you cannot provide a translation, please go to the list of Wikipedias, look in the list for a Wikipedia that is in your language, and edit there instead of here. Your reason here Cruxartanny (talk) 04:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You indicate below (but, strangely, not here in your unblock request) that you plan to "improve this entry in the future". No. You've demonstrated you aren't capable of writing in that subject area. You will not be unblocked to continue your paid editing. If this is your only goal, this is the end of the line. Otherwise, convince us you understand WP:COI and tell us what you plan to write about instead. And you'll need to address your copyright violations. Yamla (talk) 09:51, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Cruxartanny (talk) 04:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC) I understand and have followed the instructions to add the Disclosure information to my own discussion page. I apologize that I opened a separate entry for paid editing because I was unsure how to delete the original entry. I will follow the instructions and improve this entry in the future. Thank you very much.Cruxartanny (talk) 04:39, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]{{unblock|reason=unblock|reason= ~~~~}}
. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:51, 9 June 2022 (UTC)- Cruxartanny, my apologies – I now see that you had made an appropriate paid-editor disclosure before you re-posted your draft. This was a mistake on my part, and I've changed your block settings to reflect it. To be unblocked you will – as clearly explained above – need to show what non-promotional contributions you would make to the encyclopaedia if the block is lifted; you'll also need to show clear understanding of our copyright policy, and explain how you will avoid further copyright violations. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:59, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- May I ask if it's okay for me to return here?
Cruxartanny (talk) 04:04, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
- Just some friendly advice: the text of your unblock request reason should be placed in the unblock template after the text "unblock|reason=" and replace the text "Your reason here". That way your reason will appear inside the box you see above. You keep posting replies to your own unblock requests, something that may indicate a WP:CIR issue because you've now done it twice, even though someone else already pointed out your error. Matuko (talk) 01:26, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
First, I want to start by saying that, as mentioned above, I "can't write". The information I put up was provided by the person in charge of this artist, and I gave help because I liked the artist's paintings. The words were written by the person in charge and provided to me by the contributor himself, including the duplicate information previously found on the website. Because it was put on a copyrighted art website at the time, I was just hoping to let people know more about this artist, and didn't realize the trouble it brought, I didn't search online first, and it turned out that other websites had the exact same information, which I neglected to do, or I checked "Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials". might also give some help, I will try to look into it. Afterwards, I will ask the company to provide me with links to available non-copyrighted sources and ask the author to re-write a (neutral) artist description.
Also, I think this information was added so that people who use English can look him up directly on the wiki.
- This artist has many exhibitions in western countries and most of his fans have asked why there is no information about him on the wiki. We want to be able to find him on the wiki again, rather than sending them to other sites for some scattered information.
We also avoided using first-person writing in the "publicity" section. I'm sorry that this is the first time I've done a new Wikipedia entry, and I really had to read a lot to figure out how to do the editing. I hope I'll be given the opportunity to do another edit, and I'll work on it, thank you. Cruxartanny (talk) 04:01, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
First, you have not disclosed how you were compensated for making those edits. Second, if you cannot write in your own words, you should find another way to spend your time than on Wikipedia, which requires everyone to write their own words, not the words of others. If you are given text by the subject of an article, then the article is basically an autobiography, which is highly discouraged. Third, you admit that you wrote the article for publicity purposes, and that is expressly disallowed; see WP:NOTPROMOTION. Wikipedia isn't the venue for you to "let people know more about" any topic. The topic absolutely must be independently notable before appearing on Wikipedia. Finally, you have not demonstrated that you have even the smallest inkling of what the inclusion criteria are before an article can be published here. see WP:Golden rule to start with. Until you can give an administrator confidence that you understand these basic policies, you cannot be unblocked. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:44, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

It is written by someone who knows the artist (she describes it in a neutral way). The person who wrote this introduction was not familiar with how to use Wikipedia, so she asked me to help her. The difference is that I am the person you are currently communicating with, and she is the person who wrote this article. She previously published this text on a copyrighted website, and I have asked her to rewrite this article. :Third, I am concerned that there seems to be a slight misunderstanding. I am not trying to promote this artist, who is already famous in his own right, and whose information is listed in other Chinese encyclopedias, the Baidu encyclopedia, the Chinese Wikipedia, and in many of the "sources" (news reports) I provided in the "deleted entries". I just wish his information would also appear on Wikipedia, which I think is still the most familiar and intuitive to most people. Because he has such a high popularity, and seeing the messages from the artist's fans asking why he is not listed on Wikipedia in English, Italian and other Western countries, we wanted to create an entry for him on Wikipedia outside of Chinese.Cruxartanny (talk) 05:28, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
