Wikipedia is not an acceptable reference

[edit]

PLease note that a wiki (including Wikipedia) is not an acceptable reference. Please read WP:CIRCULAR. --David Biddulph (talk) 21:09, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just thought I would let you know. Sometimes it can be better to actually leave a link red rather than linking to another language Wikipedia, especially if the English WP really should have an article on something like a town. Red links can sometimes be a signal to others that somebody should probably write an article this topic, and can be a useful tool in identifying where our gaps are. Thanks, I am new to this and have a lot to learn!DahlenSaxonia (talk) 21:20, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You can combine the two, such as with the {{ill}} template, which I used on your article earlier but you reverted my changes. --David Biddulph (talk) 21:25, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I didn't know about this option and thought it was an error. I'll have to read up and put them back in again. These are the first pages I have ever built on Wiki.DahlenSaxonia (talk) 21:31, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I now have a translation ready in English (in a Word document) to upload, for this page: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leibarzt - please could you create an English language (Draft) page for this, headed Personal Physicians

Many thanks!DahlenSaxonia (talk) 14:53, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Personal Physician

[edit]

Hi, I'm Boleyn. DahlenSaxonia, thanks for creating Personal Physician!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. It is unclear how this meets WP:NOTABILITY and it has no sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Boleyn (talk) 14:21, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm moving this to Draft:Personal Physician, please work on it there and the n submit it via WP:AFC when the issues have been addressed. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 14:22, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
