Reverting legitimate edits[edit]

I changed "libertarian" to "proprietarian" because libertarian refers to a political philosophy in favor of liberty and against control by capitalists, states, and religion, while Reason magazine is a pro-capitalist publication. Recently, a small group of pro-capitalist ideologues have attempted to corrupt the term.

Page blanked by author[edit]

Hi. Though page blanking is usually vandalism and needs to be reverted, it is worth looking first at the page history, because quite often the author has blanked his own page, as with Mary Mackey just now. In those cases the best thing is to tag it {{db-author}}. It can be confusing for an author who realises his page is inappropriate and blanks it, if his page is at once restored and he is accused of vandalism for the blanking and told it was unconstructive. Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my userpage. I appreciate it, AndrewrpTally-ho! 20:50, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Deleting bit o' vandalism[edit]

Just a note to say I deleted some vandalism posted by User:Wozwoz to your talk page—vandalism that attempted to impersonate me. Cheers! Binksternet (talk) 03:18, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

The I.P. whose actions of blanking another I.P. talk page you undid. Well, for some reason he or she is doing it to a lot of diferent I.P.s Do you have any reason why an I.P. would do that? --Abce2|AccessDenied 18:54, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi David, your bot does not seem to have had approval from WP:BAG yet, since your request doesn't appear in the current discussions. Would you like to fix this, and I can approve AWB when it's been considered? Thanks. Rodhullandemu 13:18, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to disappoint your first BRFA request. We have strict policies in running bots here to avoid damage it can possibly do. That is why we approve BRFAs from "trusted" users only. I suggest you to gain enough experience by using AWB from your own account and understand using it properly for various purposes and come to BRFA for specific tasks. Let me know if you need any help or advice. -- Tinu Cherian - 15:53, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Do you really think that the article needs a huge list of animals, or are you just blindly reverting because I'm not logged in? (talk) 01:30, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Simple RFD[edit]

Hi David. I see you're still active here. Could you please visit simple:Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2012/User:David0811/Monobook-suite and tell us whether you still want to keep the draft? Thank you, Osiris (talk) 03:37, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

viral videos reverted change[edit]

Long Term Effects of Cannabis[edit]

The change I made to the article had reasonable cause that you completely neglect to discuss. I simply removed mention of a study that had blatent cross-contamination of substance abuse, and an uncited section that has existed since 2008. Upon reading your talk page it seems you may auto-revert some articles edited by non-registered users, but the "Reason for change" section exists for a reason, and I would strongly suggest you consider taking a look at it next time you revert something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 18:29, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
