Keep up the good jobs![edit]

I see you are making many good edits, keep it up. I liked your comment at [1] ! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:28, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your message on my talk is perfect, so good job there! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:06, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Nice job uploading and adding pictures; please keep in mind that we should avoid uploading pictures taken by others (due to copyright issues), so for now just focus on uploading pictures taken by yourself (like the one you did). While we haven't learned about Wikipedia:Categories yet, please note you can categorize images - see [2]]. This adds images to image pools like [3] which in turn are linked from Wikipedia articles. If you'd like to learn more about cool signatures, check Wikipedia:Signatures. PS. I incorporated your image into the infobox, it should look even cooler there (compare [4] and the current version of Solana Beach, California. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:23, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

First let me add my thanks for your edits. I see that you have added many pictures - good pictures are always welcome in Wikipedia and Wikimedia. I see that you are a relatively new editor and I have a few tips for you that I hope you will find useful. In the article Los Angeles (disambiguation) you replaced "most populous" with "most popular", I think the original meaning of most populous (i.e. having the highest population) was the intended meaning. In general, it is better to add a picture after an infobox rather than ahead of it as for example in the article Solana Beach, California where you will find that another editor has moved your image. In the article on Jon Hellesnes your edit suggested that the subject was just one of several professors of philosophy at a university; however, outside of North America, professor usually means a head of department (although there are also honoury professors) so there will only be one professor in each department. Happy editing. Gaius Cornelius (talk) 13:16, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good question![edit]

I have commented at Template_talk:Infobox_company#Adding_an_image. I'll also award you an extra credit point for this good idea! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:31, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

Hello, Db9023, and thank you for all your helpful additions to Wikipedia! However, some of the External Links that you recently added were not really in compliance with Wikipedia practice and I have undone them. I wanted to explain why. The "External Links" section is used for the official site of the subject of the article, or for other informative resources with expanded information about the subject. We do NOT generally add external link for something that is simply one aspect of the subject, and especially not if it is already wikilinked or referenced in the body of the article. So for example the article San Diego should not have an external link to San Diego Zoo or to other features of San Diego such as Balboa Park, because there is already information and a wikilink about them in the article. Similarly, the article Coronado, California does not need a link to the Hotel del Coronado because it is already referenced in the article. I hope you understand; ask me if anything is unclear. And please do keep on improving Wikipedia! --MelanieN (talk) 17:39, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Practicing references[edit]

Kimshin Myongsuk was proposed for deletion due to no references; I declined it as I see many references in the Korean article. Perhaps you could add one or two that seem the best from the Korean article to the English one? Cheers, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:43, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki edits[edit]

I appreciate your continued edits, please keep up the good job! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:24, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Intrax[edit]

Hello Db9023,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Intrax for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 03:52, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

re: About Wikipedia Adventure[edit]

I fixed the box issue, the box message was not closed properly (the fault of whoever wrote it, not yours). With regards to the Adventure, please describe the problem in as much detail as you can at Wikipedia talk:The Wikipedia Adventure, and one of the designers should be able to answer soon. Or you can drop by my office and show me what's the problem; I will be there today for a while after my class ends at 1415 (but not very long). Oh, and you should not sign the headings [5]. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:25, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I left you a reply there. Did you fix the email problem? Also, please note [6]. Keep up the good edits! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:22, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

You can add or refine categories at My Love from the Star. But you tried adding them to article's talk page instead (Talk:My Love from the Star), which is why I reverted that edit. Talk page categories are generated automatically by WikiProject templates and such, and we should not add others there manually. Good job adding the said WikiProject templates, though! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:20, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please enable your email, otherwise you will not receive notifications about messages I or others will leave here. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:55, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I still don't see the "email this user" option on your talk, so I think it is still not fixed. Have you received a confirmation email and clicked on the link in it? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:46, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, then I suggest you ask for help at Wikipedia:Help desk. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:42, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think your email notifications should work now, I see the email this user link on the left. Did the Help Desk help? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:41, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As I am reminding your collegues of Week 5 deadline, I'd encourage you to go one step ahead and try to learn how to use Wikipedia:Citation templates to nicely format your references. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:07, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Not seemingly. But it't good that now you can see the link. Db9023 (talk) 08:22, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Time to increase activity![edit]

As we are entering into our final month, it's time to increase activity, catch up on all those missed weekly edits, and start work on the group project! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:24, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Thank you for your gentle reminder.--Db9023 (talk) 00:04, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please add references to the article. Also, when you translated an article from other language Wikipedia, (i.e. 한국어 위키백과), please put {{translated}} as following: {{Translated|ko|문서 제목}} to ensure copyright status. (Like this: Special:Diff/608928237) Thanks! Revicomplaint? 06:46, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Revicomplaint? I'd added some references as you might have been able see, and I am trying to add more by searching. I've added the translation notification, tDb9023 (talk) 11:16, 17 May 2014 (UTC)hanks for your advice![reply]
Oh, I have already did on talk page (as template is intended to be at talk page). Good job! :D Revicomplaint? 12:28, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Revicomplaint? Good to know, thanks! Db9023 (talk) 01:00, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You still need to add more references, and please try to figure out how you can use permalink from Rigveda wiki. Each paragraph should have the ref (even if it would be the same as that on the previous paragraph). Currently most paragraphs are unreferenced and the refs [2] and [3] as of [7] are in weird places. Please ping me when you are done fixing those issues. Good job adding the Alexa rank. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:04, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rigveda Wiki, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Neet (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Improving the prose quality of Rigveda Wiki[edit]

Please see my comment at Talk:Rigveda_Wiki. The prose needs to be improved before we can show this off on Wikipedia's main page. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:01, 21 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:PiotrusOkay, I'll check this out again. Db9023 (talk) 07:53, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've marked specific parts of the article that need clarification due to confusing use of English, primarily in history. You should also add categories to the article. Please let me know when this is done. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:22, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Looks much better. Few last tweaks: 1) can you add a sentence explaining what is "Angelhalo"? A website? 2) "On March 9, 2012, Rigveda wiki was separated from Angelhalo" - this implies the Rigveda wiki existed before March 9, 2012. I think in fact you removed most of the history section, when instead what we should do is to rewrite it, fixing the grammar issues. 3) The term "deletions lines" persists, I still don't understand it. What does it mean? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:00, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
User talk:Piotrus I am afraid if it is too late, I tried to fix what you mentioned though... Db9023 (talk) 13:34, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'll see what I can do. Can you add a sentence or two about the split between Rigveda Wiki (http://rigvedawiki.net/) and Ewha wiki (http://www.ewha.ac.kr/)? Also, it would be nice to explain what is the difference between Angelhalo wiki and Ehwa/Rigveda wiki. Does Angelhalo still exist as a separate site? Why was Ehwa/Rigveda separated from it in the first place? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:23, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:42, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
