It has to do with the attribution of the copyright. The courtesy vanishing link above says this: "As all contributions are licensed under the CC BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL and must be attributed to a user, it is not possible to delete an account." I agree that Eddie Offord engineered the album Tarkus. So why would you write so much about how Eddie Offord produced all these other albums? Wikipedia has a guideline about that called WP:COATRACK, in which a second topic is shoehorned into the first one to promote some other idea. In your case, you were promoting Eddie Offord. So your insistence on calling The Mars Volta a "Mexican" band is wrong in every possible way, and racist to boot ("oh, every Spanish-speaking surname must mean Mexican.")
