Thanks for your comments. I hope you'll help me in keeping an eye on the page, as vandals are reinserting PR and Advertising, as well as blanking the Talk Page at will. Eleemosynary 15:58, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

You are reciving this message because you have been involved in a dispute with BenH before. Due to some currently ongoing disputes with this user, I invite you to check out Wikipedia:Requests for comment/BenH. —Whomp [T] [C] 01:21, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
It's obvious BenH has no intention of responding to the RfC ... as someone who's had to fix at least two of his "edits," I'm under the assumption that he's under a community ban. Hoping to get it formalized. Would appreciate your support ...Blueboy96 21:07, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
I think everyone's favorite TV AFD nominator/puppetmaster is back. Look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Angela Russell (second nomination) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Irv Weinstein. Kirjtc2 14:18, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

My edits were meant to remove the non-factual entries
[edit]"It faces stiff competition from New York City classic rock station WAXQ, which is viewed by many as the superior station." does not belong in an "encylopedia".
Ratings on Long Island prove otherwise. Since you can't reprint the actual numbers, you could at least elude to the fact that the station is the highest rated Rock station on Long Island and has been for years.
WBAB is also not "known for" it's heavy play of Pink Floyd. I would say that it's known for its dedication to the Long Island community. I would like to see an entry highlighting the station's extensive charity and fundraising work.
Also, there is no ongoing investigation into the signal hijacking. That should be updated.
Please just make the entry unbiased. It's obvious that you are writing this with a bias towards Q. Your personal feelings could undermine the integrity of Wikipedia, if you're not careful.
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:B103.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:B103.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
I dont know whats up with this guy, but he hit up quite a few other pages of arenas and stadiums with made up nicknames, incorrect nicknames, or wrong names for arenas or stadiums. Figured I would say something to you since you had caught one of his edits, and I had to undo a few of his edits myself. Whammies Were Here 03:42, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:B103.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:B103.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 14:38, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I just wanted to say a few things
1. You might want to delete "Taking Care of" Old messages from like I don't know '06, and '07!
2. If you're a "Road Lover", why aren't you adding info anymore, or....?
3. Do you know where a artcile about the suffixed symbols listings (like A=Alternate, B=Bypass, - those kinds...) as of the Continent (North America), Country (USA), or State (NY, PA, etc.)
4. Do you know why there isn't a list of junctions on the USA Routes like U.S. Route 20 at the link:[[1]] ?
5. Can you reply on my talk, for these Q's?

2009 in television
[edit]Those programs were copied as-is from 2008 in television; so, in answer to your question, "2008 in television" says they're ending. Whether or not they actually are, I couldn't tell you. Sahasrahla (talk) 11:37, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- You never know, whoever put them on the 2008 page could have been vandalizing. I don't follow TV news closely enough to know, though. Sahasrahla (talk) 22:32, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Senators
[edit]It's kind of embarrassing... First Kennedy and Byrd, then Wicker, now Boxer... Who will be the next? Can't we do anything against this? Cassandro (talk) 00:31, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello ErikNY! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 2 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Pam Oliver - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Mike Patrick - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Fran Healy (baseball) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Ashley Scott - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Speedy deletion nomination of Phil Mushnick
[edit]Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hula hooping
[edit]Is this factoid in Hula hoop true? "An early duration record for the hula hoop was set by 11-year-olds Paulette Robinson, Charles Beard and Patsy Jo Grigby in Jackson, Mississippi lasting 11 hours and 34 minutes (August, 1960). The event was sponsored by radio station WOKJ."[2] The source you cited doesn't mention this, and I can't verify it. Fences&Windows 18:13, 15 March 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:WHLI.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:WHLI.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:24, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Antenna TV affiliates, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page WFFF (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
