[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Radamel Falcao, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spartak Moscow (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Inter Milan name

[edit]

Also FIFA and UEFA use “Internazionale” in their English version. The club refers to itself as “Inter” or “Internazionale”, not as “Inter Milan”.--Dipralb (talk) 16:08, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

”Internazionale” is common exactly like “Inter Milan”; “Internazionale” is used by FIFA and UEFA in their English version. Furthermore, there’s already “Milan” in Ronaldo’s article, so “Internazionale” marks a better difference.--Dipralb (talk) 16:21, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
For example: a Portoguese word, “Internacional”, is used in Pato’s article, and “(Olimpia) Milano” is used in Gentile’s article. English Wikipedia already uses foreign words if they’re necessary. In this case, “Inter Milan” is only a nickname, but the club refers to itself as “Internazionale” or “FC Internazionale”.--Dipralb (talk) 16:36, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In Ronaldo’s article we should use “Internazionale” and “Milan” (instead of “AC Milan”).--Dipralb (talk) 16:40, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don’t agree, but thank you for your understanding.--Dipralb (talk) 16:58, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alisson

[edit]

Have Liverpool released a statement with the fee? There are multiple sources [1] and one on his page that report different fees. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 21:23, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Messi magazine awards

[edit]

Thank you for the advice F8RIL. I will try to do as you say but in the same time I will also try to keep Messi's page as serious as possible. Cristiana's page has some ridiculous and joke "awards" (i.e. Facebook / Internet awards...) which most of the people/viewers cannot take seriously!! Thanks again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dim. Nor. 86 (talkcontribs) 11:51, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Loris Karius, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chester City (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ronaldinho, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 11:47, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Ronaldinho. GiantSnowman 11:49, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hmm--I was going to say something like "I hope so..." in response to your edit which reverted ALL OF MY SELECTIONS, but now that I see these notices here I'm more doubtful. Walter Görlitz and User:GiantSnowman know what they're talking about. Now, the changes you made that I did look at were all sourced, but if this YouTube crap was also yours, that's not good. So I'll gladly let this ride for a moment so you can get on it, but I hope you realize that what you restored was really an unacceptable version of the article; I hope it won't be that way for long. Thank you, Dr Aaij (talk) 21:05, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Regards the two comments (from Walter, and Giant Snowman), Walter’s comment was inaccuratey given to me (it was another editor adding unsourced material to the 2018 World Cup, it was me that removed it), while Giant Snowman’s was rightly aimed at me, but abit of a misunderstanding in that I was adding the material back to the article while in the process of getting the sources; Snowman wanted the sources immediately.F8RIL (talk) 21:45, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

why are you so obsessed with my edits — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keditz (talkcontribs) 19:24, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits are disruptive because you ignore what has been discussed on the talk page. You can’t just jump in and plant your own view on issues that have previously been discussed. F8RIL (talk) 19:29, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have literally done the same, you've got 'you may be blocked' on your page stop being a hypocrite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keditz (talkcontribs) 19:31, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all. Mine was for not inserting a source immediately (Giant Snowman actually thanked me after). Your edits are entirely different. F8RIL (talk) 19:33, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, from Portugal,

not hoping for much even though i politely stressed out this and that in edit summaries, but let's try again: can we please reach a compromise in these players' storylines? If you notice, i am not removing anything of what you add, merely composing it.

1 - no need to say "Puyol" twice in that match against Madrid, he's the only subject mentioned in the ENTIRE paragraph; 2 - why can't we use ";" in sentences? Seriously, i am asking without any sarcasm, is it wrong to do that?; 3 - if both players played against same team (Madrid), if we write "opposing fans" it's wrong so we write name of club again (even with nickname - Barça - which we are not encouraged to make here, ask anyone to see that i am not lying)?

Attentively, happy editing --Quite A Character (talk) 20:58, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Fair enough, you "win" the Puyol case (also there, i did not remove anything but where does the reference mention the Real Madrid fans are incensed?). In Carvajal, just to notify you i am going to replace "Barça" with "opposing", you did not reply anything regarding that but i know it's 100% correct.

Attentively, sorry to bother you --Quite A Character (talk) 21:37, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ronaldo

[edit]

Is it fine if I revert the Ronaldo edit and take out the nickname? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keditz (talkcontribs) 15:06, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

the layout is fine as is. You seem to have a penchant for making vast, unnecessary alterations to stable articles. F8RIL (talk) 15:15, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please can you let me know why you reverted the Henry one, I feel like I put appropriate information and a better picture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keditz (talkcontribs) 15:19, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

On the recent exclusion of the portion in the page paul Pogba

[edit]

Hello ! I found you reverted one edit done by me saying too much description about an opposition goal but I want to say you that my focus was to mention that the goal came from a free kick conceded because of a foul made by Paul Pogba not elaboration of the opponent's goal Malignant Cell (talk) 12:12, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I added back a trimmed version with Pogba’s culpability for the free kick which led to the goal. F8RIL (talk) 17:42, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
