[edit]Hello, I'm AllyD. I noticed that you recently removed content from Joseph Sigelman without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Fvckrender moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Fvckrender, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Hello FranklinA47. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:FranklinA47. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=FranklinA47|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE🌈 20:37, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- I am not being paid or have been paid for any contributions to Wikipedia. If I was, according to the rules which I went through and understood about creating and editing articles, I would use the template or select the I am paid to edit button when using the creation wizard or use the template as instructed above. Ronnie K. Pirovino moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Ronnie K. Pirovino, is not suitable as written to remain published. There appears to be either a WP:UPE or WP:COI issue. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where it can remain while you address the UPE/COI concern. When you have made the necessary steps regarding COI/UPE, and the article meets WP:GNG and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Do not re-add to mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 14:12, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, I will improve the article and submit the draft for review. Thank you for informing me. FranklinA47 (talk) 01:41, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
Against the Grain Theatre moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Against the Grain Theatre, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 05:20, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- I was not paid and have not ever been paid to make any edits on Wikipedia. You approved the draft yourself; now it is not ready for mainspace.
onel5969 I also cannot submit the draft for review; I have been blocked from editing on Wikipedia. FranklinA47 (talk) 08:09, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
FranklinA47 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
- I have read and understood the Terms of Use and the paid editing disclosure.
- I was not paid and have not ever been paid to make any edits on Wikipedia.
- I will not edit any topics without permission; just let me know what to edit.
- I live and study in Nigeria, so aside from classes and work, I use my free time to edit Wikipedia at a cybercafé, so when I am online, I most want to finish the pages that I created or started. If you check the log, I sometimes go months without making an edit, and every time I am attached to a payment, which I am not receiving.
Take, for instance, You start working on a school project because you saw on a student bulletin board that it was free for anyone who wanted to participate, and you have seniors that will guide you during the process. You excitedly decided to join, started topics, and made random edits as your contribution to that project. There have been some ups and downs, but you decided to continue learning more about the rules for the project while contributing to it. One day, like every other day, you wake up and read an email you received from the school board saying you have been expelled from the school for the reason that you have been receiving payments from the teachers and other schools to contribute to that same project (which you decided to work on because it was free to all) and all your contributions, research, and all other work for that project have been deleted.
It must be an encouraging and good feeling. FranklinA47 (talk) 08:47, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I don't have access to the information that the blocking admin has, but even just based on your edits it's pretty obvious that you aren't picking the topics you are editing about at random. Note that you do not have to be specifically paid for edits to be a paid editor, any paid relationship whatsoever triggers the disclosure requirement. 331dot (talk) 09:45, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Unblock request
[edit]FranklinA47 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
- I have read and understood the Terms of Use and the paid editing disclosure. *I admit that the nature of my edits triggered the disclosure requirements. *Moving forward I would like to join a trainee program or be mentored by a more experienced editor (if there are any of these types of programs available), so I can learn how to contribute properly and not make the same mistakes on this platform. FranklinA47 (talk) 19:37, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You still have not disclosed your conflict of interest/paid editing status, nor have you told us what you plan to write about instead. Yamla (talk) 19:52, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

Unblock request
[edit]FranklinA47 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
- I have read and understood the Terms of Use and the paid editing disclosure.
I admit that the nature of my edits triggered the disclosure requirements. I have never been paid to edit Wikipedia. I once met Joey Primani.
- If my unblock request is approved, I would love to work on or write about war, computing, movies, and gaming articles.
- Moving forward, I would like to join a trainee program or be mentored by a more experienced editor (if there are any of these types of programs available), so I can learn how to contribute properly and not make the same mistakes on this platform. FranklinA47 (talk) 21:36, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Based on off-wiki evidence and on-wiki behaviour, it strikes me as very unlikely that you have never been paid to edit. --Blablubbs (talk) 17:55, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
