Dear Dr. Broadwell. I am currently working on expanding the article on the Otomi language and would be delighted to have an expert on Oto-Manguean languages look it over to see if I got anything right (or wrong). If you have a little internet time to waste you might find it to be interesting reading. (the article on Oto-manguean languages it self could also need some help).·Maunus·ƛ· 02:41, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Problems with upload of File:Big zapotec branch tree.png
Thanks for uploading File:Big zapotec branch tree.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
Okay, editing now. Didn't realize you were still working on it. I'd marked the branches that were undefined, and of course the red links, but you've taken care of that. I'm going to use direct links and redirects, though, so that links to these names in other articles will work too. — kwami (talk) 20:54, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Hans-Jürgen Sasse
A tag has been placed on Draft:Hans-Jürgen Sasse requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.ssila.org/2015/03/05/hans-jurgen-sasse-1943-2015/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
