Your GA nomination of The Warriors (film)[edit]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article The Warriors (film) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. Time2wait.svg This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Happypillsjr -- Happypillsjr (talk) 00:20, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

Per the comments of administrator Cyphoidbomb above, and your failure once again to follow GA instructions by opening a review on your own nomination, I am removing this nomination from the article, and once again arranging to delete the improper review page. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:51, 27 March 2016 (UTC)
I previously instructed you to stop nominating articles for GA or FA, since you were not demonstrating appropriate comprehension of our nomination protocols. You are needlessly creating more work for editors by disregarding these protocols, and this is disruptive. So, one last time, please stop nominating articles for GA or FA evaluation, and please do not start the reviewing process yourself. If you do this again, I will block your account indefinitely to protect the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:56, 27 March 2016 (UTC)

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:00, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Scale of justice 2.svg Hello, Happypillsjr. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Interview invitation from a Wikipedia researcher in the University of Minnesota[edit]

I am Weiwen Leung, a student at the University of Minnesota. I am currently conducting a study on how people on the LGBT+ Wikipedians group use and contribute to Wikipedia.

Would you be willing to answer a short 5 minute survey? If so, please email me at leung085@umn.edu. It would be helpful if you could include your Wikipedia username when emailing.

Thank you, Weiwen — Preceding unsigned comment added by Weiwensg (talkcontribs) 03:25, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Naughty Alysha[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Naughty Alysha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

BLP for a porn performer with no real sources and no objective claim of notability per WP:PORNBIO or WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. • Gene93k (talk) 01:45, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

May 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on K. Michelle, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! SummerPhDv2.0 03:52, 16 May 2017 (UTC)

Happypills: regarding the above, categories should not be added unless there is sufficient context in the article to warrant the inclusion. If there's no mention of the subject's sexuality in the article (along with proper sourcing to support such claims) then we do not add categories about that. Per WP:CAT, "Categorization of articles must be verifiable. It should be clear from verifiable information in the article why it was placed in each of its categories." So sourced content goes first, then categories. Not vice-versa. Also as a general note, if a subject's sexuality is not a defining characteristic of why we know them, for instance, if the person doesn't speak much about their personal lives (Richard Simmons comes to mind,) consider omitting such content. We're not here just to label people as part of the LGBT club, and by doing so you may actually be confirming a social bias that being gay is something "different" to draw attention to, as opposed to just being another flavor of normal.
