Stansfield College moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Stansfield College, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Consumers Association of Singapore moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Consumers Association of Singapore, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Right now, most of the references are the company's website, and it does not appear to meet WP:NCORP. In addition, it is very promotional and is not written in the tone expected of a Wikipedia article.
>>> Ingenuity.talk(); 00:45, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, I noted that you have lifted a few sentences directly from here, please note this will violate copyrights and its not acceptable here in Wikipedia. Please do read, understand and rewrite accordingly based on your own words. For the time being, I will delete the offending sentences. Thanks~! - Dear MaxnaCarta,
- Thanks for sharing the comments! Could I check if I correctly marked this article as a stub?
- Also, the sources are taken from a variety of independent, reliable, published sources, many from news articles about the competition itself with even an account from a blog article from an event attendee discussing about the competition objectively and extensively. The speech from the Guest of Honour Deputy Prime Minister is also referred to, to indicate the history of the topic.
- I have drafted a number of articles on different topics but have been rejected and so am very clueless on how to get an article published.
- Appreciate any assistance here! Ikigai2009 (talk) 14:00, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- @MaxnaCarta sorry tagging you :) Ikigai2009 (talk) 14:02, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- The reasons for rejection are very clearly set out. The subjects are not notable. You can’t tag the article as a stub. That’s an assessment the reviewer makes when approving the article. As these aren’t approved no class is set. MaxnaCarta (talk) 22:51, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply! Ikigai2009 (talk) 05:10, 18 September 2022 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Institutions of Public Character (IPC) (October 11)
[edit]- Draft:Institutions of Public Character (IPC) may be deleted at any time unless the copied text is removed. Copyrighted work cannot be allowed to remain on Wikipedia.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Institutions of Public Character (IPC)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Institutions of Public Character (IPC) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.helencampos.com/institutions-of-a-public-character-ipc-status/ and https://www.moh.gov.sg/research-grants/institutions-of-public-character. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
