Declined speedy: Draft:Koode
[edit]Hi, I noticed that you tagged the page Draft:Koode for speedy deletion with the reason "Draft moved". However, "Draft moved" is not currently one of our criteria for speedy deletion, so I have removed the speedy deletion tag. As WP:RDRAFT says, Redirects that are a result of page moves from the draft namespace to the main namespace should be retained
. Thanks! Iffy★Chat --
The film began shoot, hence it should have a mainspace article right? At least that's what TOI reports, and I thought that when a film "starts rolling", it means shooting has begun. --Kailash29792 (talk) 15:15, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
- Kailash29792: Yes, based on the TOI report it can be mainspaced. But not sure whether the filming has actually begun or it's just the pooja function. Regional Malayalam medias has only reported it as pooja--Let There Be Sunshine 20:45, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
Answer
[edit]Hey there, to answer your emailed question, I think I suspected the editor of being related to GOOD Morning based on the heavy editing at Jyothika, but I wasn't sure from a behavioral standpoint. If you have another avenue to explore, please do! Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:53, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
- Cyphoidbomb, the report. In case if you have anything to add.--Let There Be Sunshine 07:42, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Interesting. This is one of those cases where Jyothu feels socky, but I can't pin down which guy I think it is. Complicating matters, since Bbb23 noted that the user was possibly related to Navasuv, I looked at that user page. Of the various articles they created, I don't see any intersection with Jyothu. They both have user infoboxes, but that doesn't mean anything. But more noteworthy is that they apparently share no editing intersections. Hmm... So far that suggests a dead end to me. But then I see that they've created Krithika Nelson, an article about a voice actor who does Tamil-language dubs over other actors. When on earth has a dub actor been noteworthy enough to get their own article? And who gravitates to a dub actor so strongly that they feel compelled to create an article about them? You know what I mean? Like, I understand if you think a character on SpongeBob is hilarious and you learn it's this voice actor John Doe who doesn't have an article, but a person who just does straight dubbing over another person's performance? It's like writing an article not about a painter, but about someone who's really good at paint-by-number or coloring books. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that I strongly doubt that's a legitimate fascination, and he could have been paid to create that article. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:36, 10 September 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited My Dear Kuttichathan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mint (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Lucifer (film)
[edit]Hello:
The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Lucifer (film) has been completed.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
I have removed, but may have missed, duplicate Wikipedia links to publications in the citations; only one link is necessary. I also converted all the participant's names from their first names to their surnames which is more encyclopedic. I notice an editor corrected one instance where I did this. You might want to check that I have not made other mistakes. I notice that many statements are supported by more than one citation - for example this sentence: "It was intended to be released in 2013." which has two. You need only one reputable citation to support a statement. I would suggest you go through the article and remove any unnecessary citations.
Regards,

- Remove that IMDb references, IMDb as a source is not accepted in Wikipedia. BookMyShow and Filmibeat are also unreliable sources. Find independent reliable sources (like interviews for example) and multiple of such sources are required, it alone can establish notability. Wikipedia is particularly strict in case of BLP articles, so even a marginal notability is not enough. Also please refer WP:BASIC and WP:FILMMAKER.--Let There Be Sunshine 13:31, 20 February 2019 (UTC)

Some production company by this name is co-producing Unda. If it is indeed the Madras-based company, I wonder how a company that shut down in the 1970s has suddenly resurfaced without any media coverage regarding its return. Do you know? --Kailash29792 (talk) 03:24, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

CU question
[edit]Yeah, sorry--I don't think I had anything to do with any of their socks. You might could ping one of the admins/CUs listed on the SPI, but it's been a while. That also means that, as far as I can tell, CU would deliver nothing immediately useful unless there's an entry with information on the CU Wiki--I don't have access to that right now. In other words, it's most likely that a case will have to be made on the behavioral evidence. Good luck, Drmies (talk) 20:37, 22 April 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Namukku Parkannew.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Namukku Parkannew.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
