[edit]Hello, I'm FormalDude. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Call of the Void, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ––FormalDude talk 18:51, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hi FormalDude! Thank you for looking into this page! I think the cast list was right. But the source was wrong. Is there a way for me to link the creator's website instead? https://www.acornartsandentertainment.com/cotv-cast IrisSpine (talk) 02:46, 13 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, you can add that link as a citation. ––FormalDude talk 05:39, 13 May 2022 (UTC)

- Thank you for the help on this article! I appreciate how fast and professional you were in helping me. As I provide more evidence (non-primary sources) would you like me to replace the old sources? Or just leave them there? Thank you again for your time and help! IrisSpine (talk) 01:14, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

AfC notification: Draft:Michael Alan Herman has a new comment
[edit]- Hi @S0091! Thank you so much for the feedback and help here. It is seriously so helpful. I read through the notability page again, and I still think that Michael qualifies. Under the creative professionals section, is says a person is likely to be notable if they created a significant work. Michael was the co-creator of the Webby-honored fiction podcast The Call of the Void. The Webby Awards are some of the largest awards on the Internet. I tried to link some articles that proved Michael was a creator on this caliber, but I must still be doing something wrong. IrisSpine (talk) 22:43, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, IrisSpine. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.
First let me apologize for missing the fact an article about the podcast already exists. I got caught up looking at the sources so certainly an oversight. As for COI, please read through the material above. If you do have a COI, you need to make the declaration. Having a COI does not preclude for from working on/submitting a draft so feel free to carry on but other rules apply to articles. S0091 (talk) 16:41, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

- Hi Greenman!
- I hope you are having a great day. I would love to respond to the WP:COI query, but I am not sure how to do that. Haha. Could you point me in the right direction? IrisSpine (talk) 17:34, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
