If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Josh Stimpson (artist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Cahk (talk) 07:18, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A request has been filed for the title of [[:{{{1}}}]] requesting that it be added to the title blacklist. This has been done because the article appears to be a recreation, under a different title, of an article which is itself currently protected against recreation. Please note that titles used to circumvent the protection policy are often given the same level of protection as the original title the author is trying to circumvent, or are added to the title blacklist.

If you feel that the topic of the article meets our notability guidelines, please request a deletion review or use a request for unprotection instead.

Please note that repeated recreation of an article against a consensus to delete is considered disruptive and grounds for a block. Thank you. Cahk (talk) 07:48, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, ItsMagic35, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Cahk (talk) 07:48, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Because i'm willing to contribute to Wikipedia for famous artists that have articles, i'm willing to edit mistakes and add news about upcoming albums, I understand why i was blocked in first place and it wont happen again.

Decline reason:

This doesn't explain why you attacked Wikipedia, nor does it convince us we can trust you not to do it again. Yamla (talk) 18:54, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Request reason:

Because i made inappropriate pages, i'm new to Wikipedia and i don't know the rules for editing, i promise that it won't happen again, i'm willing to contribute to articles involving singers etc...

Accept reason:

Unblocking, per these requests and discussion on IRC. ItsMagic35 has agreed that he will not write about Josh Stimpson anymore, and will only use this account. GorillaWarfare (talk) 19:25, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You were previously blocked for creating inappropriate articles. You were unblocked based on your promise you'd stop. Instead, you immediately resumed your previous behaviour. As such, I have blocked you again. --Yamla (talk) 16:06, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: I disagree with this re-block. First, I unblocked ItsMagic35 under the condition that he would not continue to try to create pages about Josh Stimpson. The page that he created was about a different artist, and he had been working with some helpers on IRC to determine good sourcing for the article. The article is definitely not ready to go into the mainspace because of the copyvio and promotional tone, but I don't think that it's appropriate to block right away without even an explanation of copyvio. GorillaWarfare (talk) 01:20, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
GorillaWarfare, you are welcome to lift the block if you think this user will stop creating inappropriate pages and stop violating copyright. They were previously blocked for creating inappropriate pages and literally the very first thing they did once unblocked was to go on and create another, after promising they wouldn't. Now, you indicate that ItsMagic35 promised not to create a page about Josh Stimpson, and they didn't. That's fair. But they also promised not to create inappropriate pages, and they broke that promise. Again, I don't mind if you lift the block, if you are sufficiently convinced they really mean it this time. --Yamla (talk) 12:15, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Reece Robertson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sbtv.co.uk/uncategorized/reece-robertson-voted-the-peoples-choice-in-samsungs-launching-people-project/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
