COI editing
[edit]Hi Jack. I notice that you've popped up as a red link (new contributor) on a number of the pages I watchlist, so I wanted to stop by and personally welcome you. I notice that you have a special interest in COI editing and I was just curious as to what aroused your interest, if you don't mind. I was just idly curious. In my case it was publicity surrounding BP a few months after I started editing here. Whatever the reason, your interest is welcome and glad you're here and interested in the subject and contributing to it. Coretheapple (talk) 22:23, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Request for comment closed
[edit]Hello there JackT7, I have recently closed the RFC you filed at Talk:Conflict-of-interest editing on Wikipedia as being out of process. Please read about the requests for comment process on Wikipedia and how it is conducted, as well as Wikipedia's policy governing the use of article talk pages for discussion. Your RFC was closed as it did not conform to those policies; the talkpage is used only for discussing the article on Wikipedia and conflict-of-interest editing. If you want to change a Wikipedia policy, please take a look at the policy page at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest instead. Note that the "Wikipedia"-colon prefix lets us easily distinguish between what is a policy page for Wikipedia and what is an article page that Wikipedia presents to the public. You can find more information about these distinctions at Wikipedia:Namespaces. TeleComNasSprVen (talk • contribs) 02:28, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
