Advice[edit]

Hi,

Please do yourself a favour and see Notability, which explains what is needed for a subject to be accepted into Wikipedia. Check out also WP:42.

You should also bear in mind that the vast majority of schools are not notable and cannot therefore have articles.

Another thing: please don't create multiple drafts on the same subject.

They can, but only if there are multiple sources that meet the WP:GNG criteria for notability. Usually schools don't get featured much in publications, other than for routine business reporting like appointments of new principals, opening of new buildings, visits by politicians or celebrities, etc. (and even then only in local press), none of which contributes towards notability.

Which is another way of saying that you should first find a few sources that meet the GNG standard, and summarise what they have said about the school. If you can't find such sources, then you cannot have an article published. Now it seems you're writing what you know about the school, and then trying to find sources to support what you've written; that's known as writing WP:BACKWARD. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:01, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jimfbleak If I said that I'm going to make article on something it doesn't mean that I'm going to advertise or spam. I was just thinking of making on my favourite anime and cartoon characters. I didn't say that I would advertise or something. I just shared my feelings and was just being chill because I saw that most admins are chill, if you didn't like it you couldve told me that.
