[edit]Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, like you did in the article MedMen. Wikipedia is not a trade directory. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. Please also refrain from introducing copyright violations, in this case from investors.medmen.com. Thank you! — MusikAnimal talk 20:57, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
Hello, I'm L293D. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to MedMen—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. L293D (☎ • ✎) 19:03, 24 February 2020 (UTC)

. Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:27, 24 February 2020 (UTC)- You may not use promotional material on Wikipedia, even if you have copyright clearance to do so. Generally speaking, any material from an organization's own site will be promotional. Also, if you were editing as a duty of employment, you were violating our requirements for paid editing disclosure. If you intend to keep adding promotional material to MedMen, you won't be unblocked to do so. Do you intend to do anything different? Seraphimblade Talk to me 21:30, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
hi there, I would like to please be unblocked, as I did not fully understand the promotional and advertising guidelines. Also, as a member of the organization whose page i am trying to update, I have a right to use copyrighted material. if there is a way to cite this material, I am happy to do so. if not, i am happy to revise the wording. Thank you for your consideration. Jlabagh (talk) 21:25, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
It is not enough to merely state that you are authorized to use copyrighted material, the materials must be properly donated to Wikipedia(your organization will want to understand what doing so means). Please review conflict of interest and paid editing. You won't be unblocked to directly edit about your organization. If you are interested in being a general contributor, there are indirect ways of doing so once you demonstrate understanding of Wikipedia guidelines by building up an edit history of edits to other subjects unrelated to your COI. If you wish to do that, please tell what other subjects you will edit about. If you are only here to tell about your business, this is the end of the road for your Wikipedia career. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 23:08, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
