Hello Kanhakris,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Chakra: The Invincible, may be copied from http://www.mynews.in/News/stan_lee_announces_first_indian_superhero_movie__chakra_the_invincible_N556231.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 12:31, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chakra: The Invincible, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages English, Tamil and Telugu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Semi-protected article

[edit]

Please don't remove the {{pp-semi}} template from semi-protected articles, and please refrain from adding statements like "mainly uses it to hand the game to the opposition at the end". That is absurd, and has been reverted. --Stfg (talk) 14:25, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • To Stfg, I had never added anything like "mainly uses it to hand the game to the opposition at the end". It might have been added to Ishant Sharma's Wikipage by some one else at an earlier time. I corrected a lot of personal opinions givven by people on that page. Guess I had missed to notice that sentence. Anyway thanks for correcting.

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mighty Raju is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mighty Raju until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

The article Arjun and the Dragon Warriors has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. International broadcasts

[edit]

Hi, I reverted the obviously good-faith edits you made here at List of The Tom and Jerry Show (2014 TV series) episodes. It's nothing personal. The English Wikipedia's Manual of Style for television discourages the introduction of broadcasting data from non-English-speaking nations into articles per WP:TVINTL. An exception would be if the series made a significant accomplishment in that nation, such as receiving the highest number of views for the premiere, etc. Also, the WikiProject Television community discourages the introduction of TV Guide-style content and they seem to feel that adding data about broadcasts across the world starts to feel like a TV Guide. Sorry about that. If you have any questions, please let me know. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:35, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re-adding the information, as you did here after another editor clearly and politely explains the rationale for its deletion as I did above, and as I did in my edit summary, is likely to be considered disruptive. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:36, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As per [1], broadcast dates of English speaking nations can be written. India is the Largest English speaking nation in the world ([2](by number)) Meanwhile as per that same page, if a american show episode aired before usa in some other country(here english speaking), then it could be mentioned. so i'll add back only such air dates.
--Kanhakris (talk) 14:55, 9 June 2014 (UTC)kanhakris (At Cyphoidbomb (talk))[reply]
WP:TVINTL doesn't say broadcast dates can be mentioned. It says "editors are encouraged to instead detail English-speaking countries that the series appears through prose form". There's a big difference there. Adding the Indian dates as you did at List of The Tom and Jerry Show (2014 TV series) episodes is beyond what TVINTL advocates. At that article we list only the US and Canadian air dates, tThe US because it's an American series and Canada because that's the country in which it first aired. As WP:TVINTL says, "Wikipedia is not a television guide", and adding other dates is turning the article into a TV guide. If we add dates for India, then we have to add dates for every other country, and we simply don't do that. Indeed, if the series aired in the US first, the Candaian dates would not even be included. --AussieLegend () 15:39, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
