Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, KingZhaxy, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Phat A$$ Stallion requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on GalaxyGang requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Article hijacking

[edit]

Warning icon Please refrain from hijacking pages as you did with Blackout. Should you believe the subject you were writing about deserves an article, please use the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on. Also see Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline which indicates how to handle separate subjects with similar names. If you continue to hijack an existing article, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:46, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on GalaxyGang discography, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Blocked

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are You seem to be here to promote/advertise a musician and their music. Your editing is disruptive, as you have hijacked articles about other things and made them about the musician. You have also uploaded copyrighted content. You have been warned about these behaviors and have persisted in them. This block only prevents you from editing the encyclopedia proper. It does not prevent you from creating a draft article and submitting it to articles for creation. I suggest you read your first article and our conflict of interest policy before attempting to write a draft..
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 21:53, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just so it's very clear:

  1. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not a personal website or social media platform.
  2. Wikipedia's articles are about notable topics - those that are of interest to the world at large over a period of time.
  3. A topic is judged notable if it has (already) received significant coverage in sources that are both reliable (with established reputations for fact-checking and editorial oversight) and independent of the topic (no financial or other vested interest in how the topic is portrayed).
  4. The notability of music-related topics are guided by Wikipedia:Notability (music). Acceptable sources for music topics can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources.
  5. Up-and-coming people or things are not included in Wikipedia, because they have not yet achieved the level of notability required for inclusion.
  6. Writing about yourself or your band is a conflict of interest. Users are discouraged from writing about themselves or their works because of the inherent difficulty in judging one's own notability, and writing from the required neutral point of view.
  7. Using Wikipedia to tell the world about yourself or your band is considered to be advertising, which is not allowed. Persistent abuse of Wikipedia for promotion and advertising leads to a block, which you have discovered. Wikipedia is not here to help you become notable; it is for articles about topics that are already notable.
  8. If you have no interest in writing about anything other than yourself or your band, then you should use an alternative outlet.
