Omer, since I'm involved in editing the article, I cannot review and grant GA status for the article myself. But yes I would definitely like to see it become a GA one day. But before that I believe that there must be a lot of cleanup done. The article is too long (111,432 bytes). Several sections of the article contain detailed explanation which needs to be trimmed out. But before that I actually want to propose a WP:RM for the article to rename it to Hyderabad per WP:PRIMARYMEANING. Please have your say on that. — Abhishek  ^Talk 19:00, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Pitt Lake gold find

There is an article called Pitt Lake gold find. Should the article be deleted? The pitt lake gold find is about a lost mine on the lower mainland of British Columbia. The Pitt lake gold find is not notable outside British Columbia. Most of Canada and America as well as the rest of the world has not heard of pitt lake gold find. Its not notable. Something to make your life easier!

Hi there LeoFrank! I've just come across one of your articles, and noticed that you had to create titles for your url links manually, or were using bare urls as references.

You might want to consider using this tool - it makes your life a whole heap easier, by filling in complete citation templates for your links. All you do is install the script on Special:MyPage/common.js, or or Special:MyPage/vector.js, then paste the bare url (without [...] brackets) between your <ref></ref> tabs, and you'll find a clickable link called Reflinks in your toolbox section of the page (probably in the left hand column). Then click that tool. It does all the rest of the work (provided that you remember to save the page! It doesn't work for everything (particularly often not for pdf documents), but for pretty much anything ending in "htm" or "html" (and with a title) it will do really, really well. Happy editing! You should check out the article Cadborosaurus willsi. The article lacks proper citations. Without proper citations this article should get the original research tag added to the article. Some of the content looks like original research. New to Wikipedia and need your help with Crackle page

Hello!

I recently edited the Crackle page and it was immediately flagged for multiple issues. To be completely honest, I am an intern for the company, and my supervisors have been wanting to edit the page because it does not have up to date information. Is there any way you could let me know specifically what sections are not up to wikipedia standard? We do not wish to promote or advertise on wikipedia, we simply want the page to have accurate information about Crackle so that if someone comes to the page, they can get an accurate idea about what Crackle is. In general the WP:AVOIDCOI states that you should avoid editing or exercise great caution while editing pages you may be associated with. Regarding adding of information to the article, you may, but you should keep the above point in mind. If there are reliable sources for your edits, you may add them. Thank you for your help. I have been able to make some additions without it being taken off. I was also wondering how I can remove the alert on the top of the page that says there are mulitple issues. I believe I have resolved the issues by taking out the sections that needed sources (I could not find reliable ones to confirm the previous information.) and added sections that are up to wikipedia standards. Criteria for Statistics Column

Hi Abhishek, I am very confused with several things in statistics column. I couldn't find any specific criteria for this section. Let me clear one by one easing to answer

1. Month/Year of statistics

• Which month the stats should start?? In metro airports like BLR, MAA, HYD and CCU, it is mentioned from April 2010 - March 2011. But in DEL and BOM, month is not mentioned.
• When to update these stats?? Monthly or Yearly?? In above mentioned airports, it is still until March 2011. Lets say if it is monthly, how to do after one financial year?? In first month, April only and in next month, April - May??
• May be this is silly question, but just to clarify. What phrase we should use for Month/Year. I found several methods. They are April 2011, Apr 2011, April '11, Apr ' 11. Which is better to maintain a standard format for all airports in India??--Amdmustafa (talk) 08:26, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Monthly traffic varies for any airport. During a month Bangalore may even be busier than Chennai. So it's best to include the entire year's stats. AAI always releases stats from April of previous year to March of the current year. So we should be doing the update based on that. If you have done a checking from their website, then it's not done properly. For TRV to HYD, there is a change over of a flight at Bangalore, so no direct flights. So kindly stop adding connecting flights to destinations and please go through the guidelines at WP:AIRPORT. Never mind. I had the pdf of the schedules (which I downloaded about 3 days back) and this didn't show up these routes. The updated one (updated on 30 October) has those routes. So sorry for that. Need some clarification

I am confused on editing guidelines. I have taken these information, which you have reverted, from news websites which are free to be used by anyone,i suppose and expressed in my words after making appropriate changes to it.All the information are true. and taken from the AAI website also. I want to contribute true information only. From where can i get these information otherthan the above given sources. No online edition of a newspaper or any other press releases are free to use (as you claim) unless explicitly mentioned. When material from sources are copy-pasted, they are either removed or tagged for copyright violation. Kaveri Etymology

My post in the above subject is undone for want of source. Well, I still remember what I was taught from my Tamil Text Book some 60 years ago during my school days. I think that I can not go in search of that particular text book. It should be considered if the explanation given makes sense. In case of doubt, dictionaries could be consulted for meaning of words. In the given case the meaning conveyed is 'The river that flows expanding/spreading dense forests on both sides'. If it is not convincing leave it. It is already on record somewhere. Wikipedia misses it, that is all. As regards' Mayavaram' it is very old name for that town. This name has already been changed to read as 'mayiladuthurai' long back.
