File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Ear007.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Ear007.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 22:04, 18 March 2011 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 22:04, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Loft Music[edit]

Hi, I'm 331dot. Lobsan, thanks for creating Loft Music!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. You are creating several articles but not including sources. Please review the notability guidelines for albums at WP:NALBUM to learn what is considered notable for an album, and then find any independent reliable sources that support such content. Not every album merits an article, even if by the same musician. If you have any questions, please ask.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Thea Gilmore[edit]

While new page patrolling I have just come across three article by you on albums by this artiste. I have redirected all three to the artiste, since I could see no reason why these albums deserve their own article. This was because the aticles consisted entirely of a track listing & list of contributing musicians; no substantial content or indeed satisfactory references. Bear in ming that most albums are not independently notable, and that your time would be better spent iproving the article on the artiste.TheLongTone (talk) 13:48, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And Loft Music#REDIRECT [[]] looks like a fourth.TheLongTone (talk) 13:49, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

You have created several unreferenced articles today such as Liejacker and the Thea Gilmore albums mentioned above. Please see WP:BURDEN and WP:V. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 14:18, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rules For Jokers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Deletion discussion about Loft Music[edit]

Hello, Lobsan,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Loft Music should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Loft Music .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

TheLongTone (talk) 14:21, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
