I had provided detailed information at least 20 years ago on a film I was in, Bob Clark's THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES. Someone removed it all, saying there were no citations. Those were my personal memories from 1966 of working with Bob and John Carradine (who played the Emperor). SInce then two authors had contacted me about info on the film, since it has not been seen since 1967, and those books are now published. Is my original content still accessible, or do I need to re-create it? There are some errors in the current brief entry, and in the Wikipage on Bob Clark. --DougKaye (talk) 09:32, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
- Unpublished sources aren’t considered reliable per WP:V. Is the information you want to be added to the article available publicly (I’m not sure if you mean the information was added to a book or not). If so you can cite the book. Another thing to note is that since you were involved in the movie, you have a conflict of interest, and I’d strongly recommend reading WP:COI. Hope this helps. Question from Lucygeejones8 (12:03, 7 July 2025)
[edit]Dear Members,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out because I’ve been encountering persistent challenges in my efforts to upload an image for the article on the British band Bros. This image, created by me back in 1993, holds significant value and I believe it could greatly enhance the article.
Despite carefully completing the upload form, I’ve noticed that some members have removed the image without providing adequate reasoning. This situation is not only disheartening but also feels somewhat unfair, especially coming from individuals who may not be familiar with the band’s legacy or the intricacies of copyright law. --Lucygeejones8 (talk) 12:03, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- The image was removed as a copyright violation. Please ensure you read commons:com:licence. Also your message was obviously written with AI. Lordseriouspig 15:45, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
