I've moved your page to List of deaths in Emmerdale, and added a short lead, and some references. If you could keep improving it and providing reliable sources to reference it, that'd be great. Fences&Windows 01:03, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hey there, I see you've also been dealing with the edits made by 86.155.131.20 this evening. I've removed some of the edits they have made to Neighbours and Emmerdale character pages and I've warned them three times now about their edits. I just wanted to say keep up the good work in removing the edits, especially those made to List of past Emmerdale characters (there were a lot of edits performed there!). Is Emmerdale and it's related articles your specialty at all? :) - JuneGloom07 (talk) 18:18, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of minor Emmerdale characters (1989) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to List of minor Emmerdale characters (1989) has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. 5 albert square (talk) 00:49, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can I ask why you reverted the change as what it says now has been completely copied from another website unlike the version that I had done on Bill and Pete Whiteley was in my own words and it annoys me as I spend time writing something and it Is undone.Thank you. Matt162009 (talk) 01:29, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are receiving this notice because you are a significant contributor (at least two edits) this year to this article. The article has been tagged for months now as suffering from a number of problems. Fixing these is crucial to the very existence of the article. Notice of this was placed on the article's talk page in March of this year without subsequent response. Notice of this was placed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Emmerdale at the same time, without subsequent response. This is a last ditch effort to get those people most interested in the existence of this article to fix the extant problems before it is placed for deletion. If you can, please address the article failings as highlighted in the warning boxes at the top of the article within the near future. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:32, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
