Welcome

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your time and effort in building the Buckingham Palace infobox. I'm sorry if your introduction to this community feels like learning to swim by being thrown into the deep end of the pool. If it seems like you've suddenly become the subject of undeserved personal attacks on the article talk page, please be assured that the entire Wikipedia community doesn't work that way. You might want to do a little background reading here. I hope this doesn't discourage you from continuing to contribute.  Unician   06:38, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Re Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bosworth Independent College. With only 197 edits you clearly do not yet have sufficient experience to be operating in maintenance areas of this encyclopedia. Please therefore do not propose any articles for deletion until your have thoroughly read and understood WP:DELETION, WP:NPP, and WP:OUTCOMES, in addition to having amassed at least 1,000 trouble free edits. If you need any help do not hesitate to ask me on my talk page, in the meantime do keep up your excellent work on swimming related matters. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 09:14, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies, I didn't realise that I had to complete a certain amount of edits in order to nominate a page for deletion. I'll stick to editing swimming articles from now on as suggested! Matthewm192 (talk) 15:35, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There is not a set number of edits required for working in maintenance areas. What we look for however is a clear demonstration f knowledge of policies and guideleins wich is most unlikely to have been gained by anyone with less than around 1,000 mainspace edits. One area however where you may wish to help out is the WP:CVU. You will need at least 200 edits to be able to enroll at the school there to learn what to do. Hello Matthewm192. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sywell CEVA Primary School".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sywell CEVA Primary School}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 04:00, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
