Hi Mitsukai[edit]

Thanks much for your response!

Can you post that reply to the discussion page of the doll article? Would that be in Wiki guidlines of civility? Or I can copy it there if you like and grant permission. It could be that other Users or Editors will read the comments on the disscussion page... gain a little better understanding of the true purpose and goals of the Wikipedia and learn to observe it's rules. Bluebot and wikify...[edit]

Hi Mitsukai,

Have not implemented your recent suggestion yet...this other issue came up. Bluebot did some "Manual of style" edits, but the Wikify tag is on the article...can you tell what else needs to be done? thanks! Sgc0513 01:52, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese macron mediation[edit]

Will you come and look at the the latest proposal for resolution and offer your "yea" or "nay" on it? We need everyone who was part of the original mediation to comment on it. Thanks! --日本穣 Nihonjoe 05:01, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anime Conventions List[edit]

Hi there! I'd like your opinion on the possible re-adding of some cons, I've made a note in the Discussion section at the bottom of the Talk page. Bakaneko155 08:48, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

why was it removed?[edit]

the article, list of anime conventions, has "otafest" convention from alberta, calgary...

but it was removed because your other friend who talks on "list of anime conventions" thought it wasent a convention that met the criteria or it wasent running anymore.

but otafest IS running since 1998. he or she said that it wasent running since 2001, but i went there last year. its still running and its going to come in one month (May). i was to even volunteer there for this year. there were tons of people. do you guys just take it off because you think it's not running anymore? im confused ;_;

help...(?)

im only looking for support ;_; i dont even know if this is the right place to put this...

Per WP: Neglected Articles (Metapsychiatry)[edit]

I tried to do some cleanup work on Metapsychiatry, but found that the available information was limited. It turns out that it is mostly the work of one man (Dr. Thomas Horn). With that in mind, I recommended that Metapsychiatry be merged or redirected to its creator's page. Might it be time to remove it from WP: Neglected Articles and move it over to AfD or Articles in need of Merging?Captainktainer 05:27, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing: IP users[edit]

Hi Mitsukai, Remember me from the Crissy doll article? If you have the time could you please run there and take a look at recent changes (current & history)? What is the Wikipolicy about signing-in to edit or editing with an IP? Also, no edit summaries are being left from these IP Users -- I have noted this in the articles Talk Page. Like to know what you think. Thanks Sgc0513 12:57, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FSN Scenarios[edit]

Hey Mitsukai! I just had some time to actually read over your FSN page, and I must say, great job! I think it would be a good idea to actually make the final merging of the three scenarios into one page now, I do not see any errors at the moment. Also, it seems like some girl with no knowledge of FSN tried to edit the Heaven's Feel page... some of it is a bit warped. I'm really glad you took the time to do this huge copy edit and merge all three scenarios. Honestly, I feel a bit like an amatuer as I tried to improve the page... the FSN wiki is doing much better than I intended. Well, that's it from me! Mirioki 06:21, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bernard Shaw (journalist).jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks for uploading Image:PS-LA.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

Call for deletion: Category:Lightgun games[edit]

G'day. Just wanted to let you know that I've called for deletion of your category, Lightgun games. (I hope I've done it right; 'tis my first time deleting anything.) Subsequent to its creation, somebody else has created the category Laser tag, and the new one is getting more articles, and I think is a better description. Replaceable fair use images[edit]

Image:Lavasoap.gif[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Lavasoap.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a free image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 13:52, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Shirokiya-Honolulu.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Shirokiya-Honolulu.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

Thank you. —Angr 18:49, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Shirokiya-Honolulu.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Shirokiya-Honolulu.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

Unspecified source for Image:Map_of_Astro_City.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Map_of_Astro_City.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Technosoft[edit]

Hello Mitsukai,

I am researching Technosoft, specifically who controls their video game IP now. If I am not mistaken, it looks like you added the information on the Technosoft Wikipedia entry about their fate. I was not able to verify this information anywhere else, so if it's not too much trouble could you provide me with a bit more information, if you have any? Or at least point me in the correct direction.

Thanks!
