Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Clark Terry, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page George Barnes (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/James Nicholas Kinney, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:07, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mizzan. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "James Nicholas Kinney".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/James Nicholas Kinney}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 08:01, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can ask another question on your talk page, contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse.

Please help me with a BLP page I'm editing for a client, author Lucinda Bassett. She has asked me to remove certain information from her page under "Personal life" -- information of a painful personal nature that also contains inaccuracies. I've done it a few times, and someone keeps restoring the removed information. The person who persists in adding the information about her business and about her husband's suicide is posting without verification. I have no way of knowing who is doing this, but the fact that he/she continues to add what I've been asked to subtract makes me think that the intention is, for some reason, spiteful.

This is the first time I've had to make such a request on Wikipedia and, while I read the section on BLPs, I need help ensuring this back-and-forth does not continue, as it is understandably distressing to my client.

Thank you.

In my opinion, you MIGHT be violating Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy if you are being asked to edit on behalf of someone else. Zeke Essiestudy (talk) 11:35, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have moved this conversation here - for some reason you posted your question on another talk page.
Thank you for declaring your interest. Please read the WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. What you should do is, request corrections on the article talk page, declaring your interest and citing reliable sources for the changes you would like made. Content disputes should in any case be settled by discussion on the article talk page, rather than by edit-warring.
There is advice for people in your client's situation at WP:Biographies of living persons/Help. Please understand that though the page should be accurate, content will not necessarily be removed simply because your client does not like it. You can ask for assistance at the WP:BLP/Noticeboard. Source re notable

[edit]

This edit added George Barnes (musician) as a notable to the article for Mahwah, New Jersey. Do you have a source for this claim? Alansohn (talk) 02:23, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
