Proposed deletion of Abraxas (Polish band)[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Abraxas (Polish band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable band, fails WP:NM

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jezhotwells (talk) 02:34, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

October 2010[edit]

Information.svg Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page MUA. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation do's and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, which should not end with punctuation
  • Use only one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry, and avoid red links
  • Not pipe links—keep the full title of the article visible

Thank you. me_and 11:57, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Autopatrolled[edit]

Wikipedia Autopatrolled.svg

Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:

  • This permission does not give you any special status or authority
  • Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
  • You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page

If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing! Acalamari 18:47, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Miss Madame[edit]

Just letting you know I've changed your vandalism tag to spam. It does exist, but doesn't look notable, and this looks like an advert. Peridon (talk) 11:12, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Sauti za Busara[edit]

Hi Moongateclimber

I am writing from the office of Sauti za Busara. Thank you for starting the Sauit wiki page. We will do our best to keep it up to date.

Also, there is a facebook PAGE for Sauti za Busara see http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sauti-za-Busara/183830174970620

Again, we are pleased that exists but we don't know who created/controls it. These days you cannot see the admin of a facebook page. Is this by any chance a page you have created? If so please can you consider giving us admin rights? We do want to establish a facebook PAGE for Sauti za Busara - and if we cannot get control of this one then we shall need to start a separate "offical" one.

Many thanks in advance Pwezapweza (talk) 15:37, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi Moongateclimber

Thank you for your reply - it was somewhat helpful but now I am really confused - is it possible you can contact me directly by email on pwezapweza@gmail.com thanks Pwezapweza (talk) 12:17, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi Moongateclimber I see you changed the Wikipedia page for Sauti za Busara. Unfortunately you had misunderstood my communication. For now I have pointed the reference to the Official GROUP on Facebook.

Can I assume from your lack of direct response that you do not know anything about the Facebook PAGE - ie you are not the creator/aministrator?

thanks

Speedy deletion nomination of Msondo Ngoma[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Msondo Ngoma requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —Ryulong (竜龙) 09:24, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Musawarat article merge[edit]

Apologies for missing this article when I created Musawwarat es-Sufra. I thought it best to merge the two articles into Musawwarat es-Sufra, as it's the name used in the external documents I could find (e.g. UNESCO). I hope that this is fine with you. ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
