Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited National Sports Center for the Disabled, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Allison Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]

Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Dominique Blake at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 20:16, 7 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Dominique Blake

[edit]

On 14 November 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Dominique Blake, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Jamaican sprinter Dominique Blake was accidentally awarded a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's 4 × 400 m relay? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Dominique Blake. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Dominique Blake), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, MrLinkinPark333. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

John Groser

[edit]

Hi there. I'm working on the article John Groser and I noticed that you have access to Oxford University Press resources. I'm wondering if you might be able to help me get access to the article about Groser in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (doi:10.1093/ref:odnb/66048). Thanks, 142.160.131.202 (talk) 04:19, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@142.160.131.202: Hello. Unfortunately, the Oxford resource I have access to is Oxford Academic, which is the journals. The ODNB is a separate site. However, I can ask at the Resource Request if any one has access. Also, if you have an email/wiki account, then it'd be easier to have the requested article sent to you. Thanks for the request. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 04:28, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Christmas!

[edit]

I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. If you don't like Christmas or just don't celebrate it in any of its forms, then please accept a generic "Happy Holidays". If you celebrate no holidays at this time of year, then hopefully you will be satisfied with an even more generic "Season's Greetings".  :) BOZ (talk) 01:02, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
