I seem to have got myself in a muddle. There was a good paragraph at the point where Demiurge last edited. No, I don't support that blog bit, but you deleted (I think it was you) some good info. Let me fix it. Adam Mugliston Talk 19:50, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, all done. Is that better now? And I got into a bigger muddle than I thought - you didn't delete anything good. Sorry. Adam Mugliston Talk 19:54, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it, easy mistake to make. Thanks for correcting it. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 07:55, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for revert User Shrikanthv's edit at SVS Educational Institutions article. Ramesh Ramaiah talk 13:22, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your recent note on my Talk page. I have certainly taken on board what you said and have been trying to improve my editing skills. I would be grateful if you could review my recent edits with particular reference to any close-paraphrasing and copyvio issues. Feel free to make any changes that might be needed. Thank you. Johnfos (talk) 05:22, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
I'm glad that you are finally getting some help with the copyright issues. I'll take a look at your recent contributions when I can. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 06:27, 18 September 2012 (UTC)- I've looked at a couple of your recent contributions. This is good, it takes the relevant information from the source without closely paraphrasing. The first half of this is fine, but I've modified the second half because it was very close to the original source, feel free to improve how the text flows. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 07:30, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- Many thanks for that practical help. I wonder if you could check this one please: [1]. And, yes I have your Talk page on my watchlist. Thank you. Johnfos (talk) 08:57, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- I wanted to check that before, but unfortunately I don't have any way of accessing the source. Sorry. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 09:25, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- No problems at all. I didn't think about access. That is a journal I subscribe to. Anyway, feel free to continue to "look over my shoulder" and offer guidance. I really appreciate it... Johnfos (talk) 10:38, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- Would be particularly grateful if you could check User:Johnfos/drafts please, as this is going into a controversial article. Thanks. Johnfos (talk) 21:30, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- I've taken a look, the only areas of concern are the paragraphs sourced to references 5 and 6. They are fairly close to the original sources, but I'm not sure that they are so similar as to count as close paraphrasing. It might be an idea to re-order some of the sentences to try and remove some of the similiarity, but I don't know how necessary that would be. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 07:52, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you again; I have made some changes. Johnfos (talk) 09:22, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

Article about Radha Thomas
Hi. I think I have completed the article and am contemplating it to move it to the AFC space. Before that, I'd really appreciate if you could have a look and give me some inputs, suggestions and advice and hopefully a green signal :-). Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Radha_Thomas Varunr (talk) 08:53, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- Varunr, I've taken a look. It seems that you've proven notability and most of the information is verifiable, but it would be good to have at least one source for the Business development sub-section. There are a few places where the use of "humourous" feels a bit "peacocky" but otherwise it is a decent article. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 09:34, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 11
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited St. Swithun's Way, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page River Itchen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

DYK for St. Swithun's Way
On 16 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article St. Swithun's Way, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that St. Swithun's Way was opened by Hampshire County Council in 2002 to mark the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/St. Swithun's Way. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Rogue Article, or not?
Do you have any views on Gatton, Surrey whether it is worthy of its own article?
Consider: we already have Gatton (UK Parliament constituency) for when it was a famed Rotten Borough.

Kingston upon Thames - Thank you
Thank you for removing the inappropriate addition to this article. I was in the process of doing something about it when it suddenly disappeared. After a few moments of puzzlement, I discovered that you had done it. LynwoodF (talk) 17:33, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for reverting my inadvertent edit to the RfA page - it was indeed a slip of the finger whilst browsing on my phone, and I hadn't even realised I'd done it. Cheers, Number 57 22:47, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

How to ask for new review of article
I wrote an article in April 2012 which was sent back for revision, that I finally did in December 2012. Since re-submitting these, I have not heard anything at all and am at a loss what to do next. Any advice on how to proceed is very welcome. best. Elizabeth Clegg — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elizabeth Clegg (talk • contribs) 12:03, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
Have I done the right thing with this IP user?
Hi Mrmatiko, I have just created an IP user's talk page and left a lengthy message regarding their 2 attempts to remove content on the Farnborough, Hampshire page about the Tumble Down Dick pub. As I'm still a relatively new user myself, I thought it best to double check my own actions with a more experienced editor such as yourself, to see if it was acceptable action to take. Regards, --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 01:15, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi TT. I believe the IP is correct. Wikipedia is not a newspaper and not the place to air local planning issues. We will just report the outcome when it is reliably sourced. No offence intended to you.--Charles (talk) 10:19, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
- No offence taken. I did post this here so that in the event if me making a mistake that it could be corrected. I do have the small problem of my (now incorrect) message to the IP user. --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 10:49, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
- First of all, sorry for the late reply - I've been working away from home and didn't have a reliable internet connection. I agree with Charlesdrakew (thanks for promptly replying to ThunderingTyphoons), there also seems to be a huge amount of uncertainty surrounding the future of the Tumble Down Dick at the moment and I think it would be better to wait until the current dispute is over before writing about it. The message to the IP can be handled by leaving another message, probably including a link to this discussion, apologising for the warning - they may not see it, but it's still worth doing. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 10:39, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks very much. Not to worry about the lateness :) --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 13:11, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
Article Feedback deployment
Hey Mrmatiko; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. On Thursday and Friday the tool will be down for a major deployment; it should be up by Saturday, failing anything going wrong, and by Monday if something does :). Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 23:09, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
