Omar AlSayed Omar moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Omar AlSayed Omar, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources to show notability and to support the statements made. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Kleuske (talk) 11:25, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, The article that you moved to draft was still under creation. I have cited it more, categorized it and submitted the draft for review. Could you take a look at it? Thank you. Musenene farahat (talk) 12:12, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Jamiebuba (talk) 13:35, 18 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:
Hello, I understand that I have been blocked for alleged "Socket puppetry" that is linking me to another user account. I am writing to appeal the block because this is a misunderstanding, that could have risen from sharing a device with another Wikipedia user. I created my account in 2016 making it an 8 years old account, and I only started editing pages recently when I learnt the key rules and guidelines of the platform. I ask that this appeal is considered and my account is reinstated with my edits. I look forward to a reply and possibly an engagements if needed. Sincere regards
Decline reason:
This does not address the concerns raised at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/KibangaWiki/Archive. Yamla (talk) 20:20, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
I have gone through the socket puppet investigations about a User KibangaWiki and I have seen that there is an entanglement in the edit history with my account or rather a conflict on interest. I recreated some pages that have been previously created by that user. The conflict arose probably because I have shared a device and created interests and this person inspired me to become a regular editor with my long held a created account. I recreated these pages with no knowledge that this is not allowed by Wikipedia and I hope we can come to a helpful discussion of finding possible solutions. Please advise on what I can do to solve this. Musenene farahat (talk) 06:39, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
So you recreated the same articles at random? I don't believe that. In any event, your only pathway forward now is the standard offer; come back in six months without edits and socking. 331dot (talk) 06:53, 21 August 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I did not say that I recreated pages randomly by mistake. I was asked by that User to recreate pages for them and this was only done because I thought that recreating pages is not against the rules of the platform. If recreating pages is against the rules then I am on the wrong side of the law but if my offence is contacting another user and using a similar device then I can confirm that that is not true and I ask that my appeal is dealt with. Thank you Musenene farahat (talk) 10:20, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
We don't have laws on Wikipedia because we are not a government. We have policies and guidelines, and if users do not follow them than they are blocked. The unblock request shows me that the user does not understand WP:MEAT and thus should not be unblocked. Z1720 (talk) 20:52, 21 August 2023 (UTC)

- "I was asked by that User to recreate pages for them" This is sockpuppetry. --Yamla (talk) 12:45, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
