I saw that you edited NYC-related content. If you live in New York, consider coming to a local Wikipedia event for support in your editing.

Hello. You uploaded a series of images including ones with these file names.

Searching online for these images, they appear on multiple websites and seem to be credited to different people. These means that Wikipedia has to delete these images until it is confirmed that the copyright holder wants them here.

Remember that Wikipedia is a community project that respects the rights of individual photographers. If you have the ability to connect with photographers at these events and of this material, then please ask them to release copyright. This can be intimidating for new users but you seem to care, and if you would talk more, message me on my talk page for support. Thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 13:56, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to see you came back to Wikipeda! Sometimes people who come in once and upload pictures do not return. You have messages about images at commons:User_talk:NYBCchimps.
I appreciate your trying to find good sources to cite when you add protest information. You have the citations for text right - thanks for that. Communicate about the pictures with the volunteer reviewers, if you would. It saves them volunteer time. Blue Rasberry (talk) 22:59, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for speaking up at the deletion discussion on Commons. Pictures are probably going to be deleted until an email comes in verifying copyright releases. This is routine, and the images can be undeleted easily when legal release is in order.
I am sorry but I am going to have limited on-wiki time the next few weeks, so I am going to be unable to continue discussion with you. Please do consider coming to a NYC Wikipedia meeting, or send any other person from your photography group to the meeting so that we can set up a liasion relationship for support and go over the basics. Meetups are at en:Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC and if the online stuff is confusing, anyone at any meetup could explain things in person and help with a routine for upload according to policy with your group. Thanks. There is a demand in NYC to give wiki support to more activist groups so anyone who wanted support would be warmly received. Blue Rasberry (talk) 11:55, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unrelated pages

[edit]

Please stop adding sections about the chimp scandal to pages which aren't directly related to it. These sections are WP:UNDUE and, given your username, you have a WP:conflict of interest. When other editors revert your changes the correct thing to do is to discuss it on the article's talk page. If you continue to engage in edit wars, instead, you can expect to be blocked. Hello, I'm Gladamas. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Dana–Farber Cancer Institute  with this edit, without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. –Gladamastalk 01:37, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
