AdultSwim

What was the result? The unblock seems to have been just left hanging. It's been 4 months. Enigma message 23:28, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Not sure. I left him a message and never heard back. -- Ned Scott 21:24, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Gavin.collins RFC/U

Hello. A request for comment on user conduct has recently been filed regarding Gavin.collins. Since you had posted your views in the prior Request for Comment, I thought that you would want to know. You can see the RFC/U here. Thank you. BOZ (talk) 00:33, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Need Help

Hi, I'm trying to create a template for use with the List of maritime disasters page. I've been working with a modified Template:Episode list template, however, there are a couple of things that I can't get correct (novice at this). I'm trying to get the summary to display across the screen but I'm not having any luck. If you could look at the sandboxes that I'm using User:Shinerunner/Sandbox for the code and User:Shinerunner/Sandbox2 for the display. Shinerunner (talk) 12:19, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind, I've got the problem solved. Thanks anyway! Shinerunner (talk) 10:48, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Happy Holidays

You did a lot for me, and looked out for me when I needed it most. Thank you, and I hope that you continue to keep up the next work. Have a great holiday and a good new year. Ottava Rima (talk) 05:27, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Thank you, and happy holidays to you too! -- Ned Scott 06:14, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

WP:ANIME's tag and assess '08

Hey Ned, I was just wondering if you're going to do any more work on WP:ANIME's Tag & Assess 2008. You've had a range claimed since near the beginning, but you haven't done any work on it since August (if the history of the range page is any indication). —Dinoguy1000 21:35, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Oh crap, I almost forgot! I'll try to knock some more out today. -- Ned Scott 22:41, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
All right, that's good (you doing more work on it, not you forgetting about it ;P ). LOL to your edit on the header page... ^_^ —Dinoguy1000 22:58, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Fixed WP:TRAN Navbox

I fixed the WP:TRAN Navbox so that is doesn't include at the end.

Reina Tanaka

What on Earth are you doing? There`s absolutely no need to re-add Reina Tanaka to the Reina disambig page because she`s already listed there. I suspect you`re a vandal, but since it could also be you are, let`s be PC here, "not paying too much attention" I suggest you either start reading the content on the artciles themselves or stop editing altogether. -- Ishikawa Minoru (talk) 18:20, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I'd suggest you be more careful when throwing such accusations around. Ned has been editing Wikipedia for quite some time now, and he's got a pretty good standing among those editors who work with him regularly. I'd say this was merely a mistake on his part (remember, we're all human (well, except the bots), and we all screw up on occasion). Having looked at Ned's addition versus the original entry, I'd replace the original with his version. ダイノガイ?!」 21:54, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Perhaps it was my passing mention of 4chan's /a/ that caused this false-positive in vandal detection? In any case, yes, it was just a mistake. No hard feelings I hope? -- Ned Scott 01:58, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

thank you

My RFA passed today at 150/48/6. I wanted to thank you for weighing in, and I wanted to let you know I appreciated all of the comments, advice, criticism, and seriously took it all to heart this past week. I'll do my absolute best to not let any of you down with the incredible trust given me today. rootology (C)(T) 08:03, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

New image project

Hi. This little form letter is just a courtesy notice to let you know that a proposal to merge the projects Wikipedia:WikiProject Free images, Wikipedia:WikiProject Fair use, Wikipedia:WikiProject Moving free images to Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia:WikiProject Illustration into the newly formed Wikipedia:WikiProject Images and Media has met with general support at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Files. Since you're on the rosters of membership in at least one of those projects, I thought you might be interested. Conversation about redirecting those projects is located here. Please participate in that discussion if you have any interest, and if you still have interest in achieving the goals of the original project, we'd love to have you join in. If you aren't interested in either the conversation or the project, please pardon the interruption. :) Thanks. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:22, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Request assistance

There is some, slight, evidence that a party who has recently repetitively vandalised your pages, and then moved on to mine, might be similar to a Dtobias who had earlier vandalized your page as per here. If you might have any evidence regarding this party which you might find useful, please feel free to add it to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/129.2.175.70. Thank you. John Carter (talk) 01:08, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for having sent you an email after your response. I sent it as soon as I started up today, and it didn't occur to me to check that you might have already responded. John Carter (talk) 16:20, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Oh, no problem. I wasn't aware of the second case page anyways :) -- Ned Scott 16:25, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

You vandalizing?

It's likely not the case. But an account with your username on eswikinews started vandalizing just a few minutes ago. Can you please confirm that that wasn't you, and then make sure something isn't up with your SUL? Perhaps you want to try merging your accounts again. NW (Talk) (How am I doing?) 02:49, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

It's one of two accounts that didn't merge originally. I got one surped, but never got around to getting that one done. I made a note of it on my user page here on June 3rd, 2008. So there's no risk of any of my SUL accounts being compromised. Thanks for the heads up on this. I'll try to get ahold of someone to translate a message to a b.crat there. -- Ned Scott 03:46, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

WP:WAF

My understanding is that you amended the reference to WP:UNDUE ino WP:WAF with this edit. This principal is currently under discussion at WT:WAF and I would be grateful for your comments about its introduction.--Gavin Collins (talk|contribs) 12:24, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Old bounty question

What was the solution to this fulfilled bounty, and might it be useful to editors working to fulfill my recent related bounty offering? MrZaiustalk 19:48, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
