All the images you have added are disallowed under Wikipedia policy because they're neither fair use nor properly licensed i.e. you're not actually the creator. Besides, the main picture is so out of date it's ridiculous. BertieBasset 02:15, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. BertieBasset 16:33, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You did NOT create this image Image:Ijoji.JPG. The copyright is clearly visible on the other copies found by Google: it's from Associated Press. Please do not steal images and place "I created it myself, it's public domain" tags on them. Thanks. Antandrus (talk) 17:42, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Im confused about how anyone can lawfully upload images on wikipedia.

Image tagging for Image:Bbiih2.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bbiih2.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Image use policy

[edit]

Hi, please read this page: Wikipedia:Image use policy. This explains under what circumstances we can use images found on the web. You cannot just copy images you find somewhere, except in special circumstances: they have to be explicitly stated to be free for others to use. Taking copyright images and uploading them here constitutes a serious threat to our project, since we are then vulnerable to legal action on copyright infringement. Taking images you find somewhere on the web, putting them here, and slapping a "I made this myself, it's public domain" tag on them, is a really, really, bad idea, for it puts us at risk, and we take a very hard line on actions that put us at risk. Thanks for your cooperation, Antandrus (talk) 01:00, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with the page Barack Obama on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Gzkn 08:17, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial use of Image:30212845.jpg

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:30212845.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:30212845.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:30212845.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 14:46, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Bush3e33.JPG

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Bush3e33.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:23, 20 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 01:23, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
